Wheelskins Leather Steering Wheel Covers Reviews

It's pretty nice

PITA to install but made a nice improvement on my steering wheel that was basically disintegrating. Biggest complaint is it didn't fit my wheel perfectly. I assumed this was supposed to be fit to specific vehicles. F150s have pretty fat steering wheels, so I can see the stitching wrapped around the wheel. Otherwise It's nice quality leather and I'm happy with it. Would buy another for my other trucks if needed.

Nice grip

Reviewed By John M (MELROSE, IA) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford F-150 —4/19/2017 7:00 PM

I got purchased a used Ford 150 and, for some reason, to top eight inches of the steering wheel was worn down. I researched the site and found the motor trend cover. I ordered it in grey hoping that the color would come close to matching the interior. When it arrived it was a perfect match. It took some struggling to get it on but it fits tight and looks great. Plus it's very comfortable and a bit on the large size grip-wise which is perfect for someone with large hands.

OEM Leather Look, at a fraction of the cost!

Reviewed By Mark V (MONTELLO, WI) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford F-150 —9/21/2016 10:41 PM

Turned out better than I expected. I did take my time and pull the excess thread every 6" or so, and temporarily taped the finished sections. That gave it the Professional look I wanted, but it took me almost 3hrs. In hindsight, a croche needle would have been great for pulling the thread tight enough to stretch the leather. I managed to pull the leather together so there was little or no gaps in the seam under the threads. I have already recommended it to many others. Expect to take a while.
