Wheelskins Leather Steering Wheel Covers Reviews

Luv my Wheelskins

This is a great product. I have gotten an older car that the plastic steering had cracked and seperated in several places. I was thinking replacing the steering wheel I came across the Wheelskins ad. Ordered one put it on in about an hour and was very very satisfied with the look, feel and cost. You can't tell there is a crack in the wheel anywhere. I read some of the reviews which was very helpful. One thing that I did do that was extremely helpful was that I used a small pair of needlenose pliers to push the needle in and pull it out instead of a thimble or some other method. It would be very helpful the company furnished a little more cord ( I barely had enough ) and an extra needle ( I broke one ). But other than that I could not be happier. Thanks

Not my size

This is a real nice wheel cover, at least it was before I tried to pry it over my 15.5 inch steering wheel. The bottom seam is stretched to a 1/2 inch gap and may come apart at any time. The info said it was good for that size, but it ain't. There is no give to the cover.

Great Steering Wheel Cover

Reviewed By Marie B (WINTER SPRINGS, FL) Reviewed for a 2009 Ford Focus —11/25/2014 1:30 PM

My daughter received a steering wheel cover for her birthday ... but it didn't fit. This cover was guaranteed to fit and did! The key was to let it soften before installing. Since we live in sunny Florida, we left it out in the sun for 15 minutes before installation. It worked fine and fits well.
