I have done some research and it seem like I could make this kit work on my 2011 Silverado with the 4.8 liter V8 (L20). Does anyone know if this is possible? What kind of problems do you foresee?

Hi, For the tremendous amounts of modifications needed, you might as well get a Whipple Supercharger Kit. The Whipple is designed to fit the 4.8L directly:

What will I have to do to Prep my truck for a Supercharger? I already have Banks Intake/Flexalite Fan/Works Stainless Heads/Hiflow Cats/Borla Exhaust/MSD Ignition Coils/Grantelli MAS/Cortex Tuner/MSD Ignition Wires with Bosch Plat Plugs/Poweraid TB Spacer

Hi, Have extra bulk hose, oil and coolant just in case. The kit is designed to bolt on your specific engine. You may or may not have to re-route hoses, which isn't too bad and is to be determined after you start bolting stuff on.

Will this work for the 5.7 Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee
Answered by Nathan S. — Nov 26, 2012 3:06 PM
Hi, The 5.7L Hemi in the trucks are a bit different than the car applications and do not interchange. It looks like the 6.1L SRT-8 is the only Jeep option at the moment and is quite different than the 5.7L in fitment.

I have a 2011 sierra 327 will it still give me high MPG if i dont push it

Unfortunately, you will actually lose some mpg with a supercharger because its an engine driven accessory and will in most cases generate some boost. Your engine will always try to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio, so even a small amount of boost will demand an increase in fuel delivery. A better option may be our Magna Charger Supercharger Kits. They feature an internal bypass valve which opens when there is no load on the engine. No boost is generated at this time and the supercharger is much easier to turn as it does not have to compress air. When you do need power, step on the gas and go.

Is there any way to change boost parameters on the Vortech supercharger? I want to increase the boost since I've added JBA headers and full dual exhaust, plus changed the rear axle ratio to 3:73 on my 4.0 V6 '06 Mustang. I like the power I'm getting now, but it feels like it could do much better than what I'm getting. I've tried emailing Vortech, but got no answer. Anyone help me out here? Thanks!!

A supercharger will make more boost when its turned faster. Most manufacturers offer smaller diameter supercharger drive pulleys to allow for fine tuning. Please give us a call or talk with one of chat agents online as we may be able to help you find the correct pulley for you needs.
