"The stance for the truck is awesome and exactelly what I wanted. What I am not pleased with is the fact that the add for the kit is misleading. Between the photo and the description I was led to believe that the kit would come with shocks and it does not. I am also dissapointed in how the rearend contacts the frame even after the cutout was installed."

"Auto Anything got me the parts fast, but this is had to install on the leaf springs of a suburban...the hangers have to be modded and so does the body of the car. The spindles do not work with stock rims unless you trip your control arm...hard but worth it"

Lowering my Suburban for Medical purposes

"My wife has had both knees replaced in the last 18 months and getting in and out of the Suburban was difficult. Now that I have lowered the vehicle about 3 inches at the front door it is much easier for her to get in and out of the Suburban. I think the ride is OK but she thinks that the ride is a little rougher than it was before.
I installed the DJM kit in my garage with no special tools except a "wide pickle fork" to separate the lower ball joint. The only trick I found was that it is much easier to assemble the front suspension if you cleaned both ends of the Torsions bars before you started to put it back together. I made a quick adjustment on the toe-in and then I got a professional alignment before I started using the vehicle.
The Suburban does not look like a "low rider", it really looks like I think it should have looked when it come from the factory. There is still plenty of clearance between the top of the tires and the fender opening, both front and rear."
