Description

Rough highways, city streets and off-road trails can be quite menacing for your steering system. And, if you’ve lifted your truck by adding a new suspension with large tires, handling gets even trickier. That nasty “shimmy” effect. The pull of grooved roads. Arm fatigue from fighting your tires all day.

Give your arms a break, and put full control back in your hands. Skyjacker’s Steering Stabilizer puts the power of performance Skyjacker Shocks to work on your steering system for the same easy-riding effect on handling. The road ahead gets smoother—all without an expensive asphalt crew and giant equipment.

If your vehicle has a stock stabilizer, Skyjacker’s Steering Stabilizer goes a step beyond a standard part with their top-quality Hydro 7000 shocks. Or, many vehicles can benefit from adding dual Skyjacker Stabilizers for extra handling enjoyment. What’s even better, your Skyjacker Steering Stabilizer carries a Lifetime Warranty.

my 1994 ranger had a lot of bump steer and my arm would get tired. with the skyjacker steering stabilizer it steers very predictable and super steady over the rough stuff. My steering wheel was a little slower to return to center but that went away after a couple days. Definite improvement!

Have a 95 dodge 2500 4x4 with a 6 inch lift and a 3 inch body lift. Iam running 36/12.50/16 tires got a real bad shimmy. Could not go over 35 mph bought the skyjacker duel steering stablizer set up. Installed the kit in about 30 minutes drove the truck and no more shimmy! Thanks skyjacker

The stabilizer stopped most of the shake in my front end. The only problem was getting the bushings into the ends of the shock. Finally used some silicone spray and it finally slipped in. Otherwise, no problems. Worth the time and cost.

Ordered the skyjacker dual steering shocks after the death wobble returned on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler. I replaced the original shock with the replacement OEM shock, but after 20k the death wobble returned. The dual shock really improved the ride and performance. I recommend the Skyjacker dual shock.

I think it is very high quality and works extremely well, I feel for the price it should have been a dual set up. You guys really need to get a clearer copy of the very old, out dated and almost impossible to read instructions that come with the kit though. I have 20" wheels that have been balanced by three shops and they were still shaking really bad before the installation of the stabilizer, problem is now gone:-) I would highly recommend this kit...

im very impressed at how much this product actually worked, i didnt have high hopes considering my wabble was really bad. ive been told by some that stabilizers arent worth it or just a gimmick. it took away 90 percent of my wabble, now once i balance my tires my ride should be close to stock. installation was not as easy as anticipated. the picture is backwards from the instructions so that took me a while to figure out, also the U bolts were a 1/2 inch too long and had to be cut down. all in all i would recommend this product but only to someone with all the tools and a little garage inginuity

Fairly difficult removal of old stabilizer and installation of new. It is difficult to accomplish without the proper tools. Limited driving time since installation, but trips to date does indicate improved handling and steering. Prior minor shimmy does appear to have been removed, but wanting for longer trip over varying road surfaces to be sure.
