"Front upper shock bushings for my Silverado were too small in diameter. They pulled through the shock mount after a 5 minute road test. Still have not found bushings that will work. The mounting studs on the shocks are too short to accept larger diameter and thicker bushings."

"When I tried to put the shocks on, the top bushings would not work on the shock mount stud with the steel sleeve inserted. So I put them on without the steel sleeve and with in 300 miles the bushing has disintegrated. The shock works fine but I have to purchase high quality urethane bushings as replacements. The bottom bushings are holding up fine."

"I put the same shocks on my 1999 F250 and I was equally impressed with the performance. The 1999 had leaf springs with bad recoil after hitting a bump. With my 2006 F250 I had problems keeping the tires on the ground after hitting a few bumps on the highway going through construction sites and with the new Skyjackers the trucks more stable. On both trucks towing has gotten better. When you hit bumps with the truck and trailer you start bouncing and you can feel the pulling up on the trailer when the truck is going down. It is an uncomfortable feeling. With the new Skyjackers I have to say it has been reduced by 50%. I will not wait to put these shocks on a new truck again. I'll purchase them as soon as I get home from the dealer."

"Dr.sirs thanks for my new shocks I put them on right away. however I did not test them until the whole family was with me. I was not impressed the ride was the same as the old shocks. Maybe I needed bigger ones for my ford excursion since it is a heavy vehicle. thanks M "
