"I put in new Downey 1.5 inch lift heavy half ton (slightly stiffer than the factory equipment) rear coil springs with these shocks. The ride is only marginally stiffer than factory, but the overall control is dramatically improved. The vehicle handles much better and I notice significantly less rear-end sway. I haven't taken the vehicle off-road yet, so I can't say how it does on varied terrain, but if the gutters, driveways and other uneven road ways I've been on are any indication, it handles the bumps smoothly as well. All in all, I'm very happy with the outcome and couldn't be more impressed with the shocks. If you're considering saving some money, these shocks are a very wise choice."

"After I bought my 2004 Jeep in the spring of 2005, I had hated how this truck was performing I had no joy in driving this truck. The dealer had replaced my shocks on two separate occasions, still felt like garbage when I drive it. Just two weeks after receiving my (Nitro 800 shocks) and installing them, I have great joy in driving this truck now. My Jeep Grand Cherokee is not for Sale anymore. Ancil :-)"

"i work on a drilling rig and about half of the time our lease road to get to the rig is worse than anything you can see on tv. the sky jacker 8000 i put on my toyota makes life a lot easier. thank you."

"THE SHOCKS ARE GREAT OVERALL. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT AFTER ABOUT TWO MONTHS OF HAVING THE FRONT SHOCKS, THE BUSHINGS BROKE. I'M NOT TALKING BROKE IN HALF, I MEAN CRUMBLED INTO PIECES. I'VE BOUGHT NEW BUSHINGS, AND THE SHOCKS SEEM TO BE HOLDING UP PRETTY GOOD AGAIN."

"Much improved ride over the 2 year old Edelbrock's I was never happy with. Rubber boot kind of a pain to keep straight but no big deal."

"These shocks so far have proven to be a very good stiff shock I pull a heavy boat behind my xj jeep and it has helped out a lot with the sag in it. They were easy to install the only trouble was on my end were a bolt broke in the frame, nothing a little tap and die couldent get out though, good price compared to some of these other ones out there"

"No installation directions. One of the three shocks I ordered appeared to be used but worked. If I had to do this over again I would have purchased a different shock brand."

"Arrived promptly but one shock was short a bushing, sleeve and red tie wrap. Skyjacker promptly provided the missing parts. The installation went smoothly and was unremarkable. These shocks are an excellent value and offer superior performance. I'm happy!!!"

"I bought 4 Nitro 8000 Skyjackers a year ago for my F250 superduty and I have one blown already. And it appears another one is leaking. I expected a better shock than these. If I have another one blown, I am moving on to another manufacture."
