"I put the Nito 8000's on a week ago and they're just what I need'd for my stock lift TJ.They're a little stiff for around town,on the gravrl roads we have in Maine, they are great. I found that you have to remove the air box to get at the passenger fr. top stud."

"the rear shocks was an easy instalation. they look good and i like the improved ride quality. the front shocks are a 3/8" shorter from center line of lower mount bolt to the land that supports the lower grommet washer. the grommets are too small with no steel center bushing. the overall length of the shock is about 3/4" shorter. had to use the oem washers and grommets to make the shocks work. they must of fired the engeneering staff when they got to the front shocks."

"Install was easy, considering the rusty nature of my old shocks and the mounting bolts. Haven't driven enough yet to really rate the ride, but it would be pretty hard to be worse than what I had. I wish skyjacker could have included new bolts and other hardware for install. Otherwise, I'm happy with the shocks."

"I was in serious need of new shocks as my F-150 was like jello on wheels, especially in a bumpy turn. When I did the replacement, only 1 of 4 of my old shocks with 120,000 miles were somewhat working. The new ride is firm and keeps everything under control. My truck sits a bit higher now, especially in the rear. I would probably prefer a softer ride with all of the bad roads I drive on but I sacrificed that for a bit more performance. A friend of mine has a new Dodge 2500 pick up which is such a harsh riding truck(with no load). My new Nitro 8000's are much better. Good price performance and value. Easy to install. Have not had my bikes in the back yet but I am sure the truck will be great."

"My truck feels like it still rides the same when going over bumps on or off road but the biggest difference came in stablility of turning. With my stock shocks my truck would lean and rock back and forth on sharp turns. This made it feel like the truck wanted to roll over at times even through my speeds were very low. With the Skyjacker shocks my truck stays as steady as can be through every turn. No rocking fear of a roll over."
