"These add a leafs were easy to install and added about 1.5 inches in lift to the rear of my 04 Tundra Double Cab. The springs did NOT include a repositioning bracket for the load sensing proportioning valve that Toyota uses on its pickups. You will probably want to fashion one yourself."

"The only real complaint I have is that the aligning pins/bolts that came with the add-a-leaf were way too short, even shorter that the stock ones. I'm not real sure of the logic there, you're making the leaf pack taller yet they include a shorter pin/bolt. Luckily my stock ones were long enough to do the job for me. Other than that, installation wasn't too difficult and the ride surprisingly enough actually is softer even though it's now a 1 ton."

"Installation took a mere 2 hrs and added the 1 1/2" that was anticipated giving the truck a bit more clearance for those low/high spots we tend to get into when 4byin', very satisfied with the product, thanx skyjacker for the pickmeup!!!"

"installed this on our 04 ford f350 non-dually. i expected a bit more but it definately helped. our truck is a repo truck, so it carries a tow system and cars. the add a leaf definately helped. i did expect a little more firmness but above all, it was a great enhancement."

"I purchased these for my '90 Dodge W-250 diesel pickup. I had purchased a 4" skyjacker lift and upon installing was left with a 2" lower rear end. These Add-A-Leafs brought the rear up a good solid 2 inches. The ride is a little stiffer and bouncier.. but I guess i expected that. Installation wasn't bad. I didn't remove the springs like Skyjacker wanted me too, it made installation of the first side i did a little difficult, but by the second side, i was a pro, installation is cake if you've got a couple pairs of C-clamps."

"I bought these to add to a new set of 4 pack leaf springs for added capacity and maybe somw lift. They are not on the vehicle, yet, so can't comment on the ride or lift. Since I was working on a new set of leafs not on the vehivle, installation was fairly easy."

"My '95 Chevy K1500 truck had a "rear sag" look. I didn't want a fancy suspension lift, so I got Skyjacker Add-A-Leafs (2 pieces of bent steel made to fit truck springs). Comes with 2 new center bolts but NOT new U-BOLTS. BUY NEW U-BOLTS, b/c mine were so rusty they broke off undoing them. Installation is hard b/c of the work of raising the truck off axle & doing all the old nuts & bolts. 4-5 hours for me & friend to do both sides of truck (& add 2 new normal shocks). The Add-A-Leaf raised my truck rear 3-4 inches!! (leaving in bottom original leaf) and it looks TOUGH!!!"

"Installation was a bit of a pain, had a lot of trouble trying to get the leaf packs off my Silverado, so I ended up just adding the leaf to the pack while it was still attached to the frame with the front bolt. (A bit awkward, but do-able).
Note for installers: The bolts are extra long so you can use them to line up the leafs while they are apart, trim them with a hack saw about an inch up when all done.
Also, after you tighten down the U-bolts on the axle, it might loosen the leaf pack nut, tighten it back down so it doesn't vibrate off some day.
Results: I have the Z-85 heavy duty suspension, so it didn't raise it quite 3 inches (as it probably would with the Z-71 package), probably more around 2 1/4 or 2 1/2,.
Lil bit stiffer back end, but not bad at all. Definitely the way to go to lift the rear (better than replacing the stock blocks with taller ones)."

"Great addition to my 2.5 inch front torsion bar lift. Truck has nice stance and clears 32s. Three hour installation for beginner mechanic. Used two floor jacks with stands and installed new leaf in pack without completely removing from truck. Gas tank and tow package mainly to blame, otherwise included directions were sufficient."
