"The back end is a little looser now with the increased height. It did raised it 2.5 inches. I don't think the ride is really any stiffer now."

"This is exactly what I was looking for! It lifted my rear suspension a couple inches and stiffened it up nicely basically converting my 3/4 ton to a one ton. No more squatting with trailer & tractor. It rides nice too."

"Installation was a bit of a pain, had a lot of trouble trying to get the leaf packs off my Silverado, so I ended up just adding the leaf to the pack while it was still attached to the frame with the front bolt. (A bit awkward, but do-able).
Note for installers: The bolts are extra long so you can use them to line up the leafs while they are apart, trim them with a hack saw about an inch up when all done.
Also, after you tighten down the U-bolts on the axle, it might loosen the leaf pack nut, tighten it back down so it doesn't vibrate off some day.
Results: I have the Z-85 heavy duty suspension, so it didn't raise it quite 3 inches (as it probably would with the Z-71 package), probably more around 2 1/4 or 2 1/2,.
Lil bit stiffer back end, but not bad at all. Definitely the way to go to lift the rear (better than replacing the stock blocks with taller ones)."

"The skyjacker add-a-leaf springs give me the highth I wanted
but the ride is a lot stiffer than I exspected. I also got an add-a-squeek with the springs. But the truck looks good."

"Easy to order.
Easy to install, about 1 and a half hours.
Did not have to remove leaf package to install.
It raised my silverado with a 6in lift an extra inch and a half.
Works great with leveling kits.
Great service."

"Great addition to my 2.5 inch front torsion bar lift. Truck has nice stance and clears 32s. Three hour installation for beginner mechanic. Used two floor jacks with stands and installed new leaf in pack without completely removing from truck. Gas tank and tow package mainly to blame, otherwise included directions were sufficient."

"I have a 94 toyota PU that has a flat bed on it. Since the bed was heavier then the stock box, it really made the rear sag. The addition of one add-a-leaf on each side in the rear helped me gain over 3 inches! The only bad part was the directions were not useful at all and I pretty much had to figure it out on my own. Instalation time for the first side was about 2 hours. Installation time for the second was only about 45 minutes because I new what to do. Also the U bolts barely fit with another spring. I had to take off the washers and the nuts seem to be holding for now, but I will probably purchase some longer U bolts, so I can have some piece of mind."

"I baught the 4" skyjacker add leaf and eventhough it says its only for the 4wd it works perfect on 2wd. Raised the back of my truck up to exactly where I wanted it. Stiffened up the rear but not enough to discourage anyone not buy it. Great product...easy to install."

"I had previously put a leveling kit on my 03 Silverado. I put on the Skyjacker 3 inch lift (3in front 2 in rear). So I purchased the add-a-leaf springs to offset the one inch I had already added. My truck looks great now. Its a little higher in the back, but you can hardly tell. This is a great product!"

"The Skyjacker AAL kit gave me exactly what I was looking for: a 2" lift without going to a larger block. I drive my truck daily, and I haven't noticed a change in ride quality over stock. I've had the kit on my truck for over 1,000 miles so far, and I haven't noticed the dreaded squeeking many have complained about. I know my way around the toolbox, and did the install on my own. Although a 2nd set of hands would be helpful, they're no where near necessary. Install time: 3 hours. Net gain: 2.25"."
