Description

Standing tall as the shock of choice for trucks and SUVs since 1985, Rancho RS5000 Shocks pack plenty of riding comfort for the highway or the trail at a budget-friendly price. Plus, they're ideal for either stock or lifted vehicles.

RS5000 Shocks are the ones that started it all for Rancho. They're around today thanks to quality parts and construction. Double-welded mounts. A high-capacity twin-tube design. Hardened, double-chromed 5/8" rods. A glass-filled Teflon piston seal. Internal rebound bumpers. Topped by red urethane protective boots. And, a durable exterior finish that withstood a 240-hour salt spray in testing.

The smooth ride quality of Rancho RS5000 Shocks is buoyed by their ten-stage, velocity-sensitive valving that reacts to the terrain with precise dampening. Comfort is also preserved by hardened rubber bushings that help pad impacts. Best yet, your Rancho RS5000 Shocks carry a Lifetime Warranty.

Much improved over stock. Now I need the fronts. Too bad AA doesn't carry them.

Very good shock. Firm but not harsh ride. Very good control. Minimal wheel hop in soft sugar sand. This set is on a Ford Ranger and I have another set on older F250. Both are 4x4s. Work very well in on both trucks.

The ordering experience went well and had great customer service to ensure that the proper equipment would be sent and anything else needed for installation. The only thing that went wrong was that not everything came in the order. I had to call back and get them to send me a pair of bushings that were missing but had no trouble what so ever in getting my missing parts sent to me. Thanks auto anything, I will order again from you soon!!

1997 Dodge Ram 1500- My truck had original shocks on it which made it impossible to take them off without a torch and impact wrench.I see alot of reviews say its easy but that all depends on the tools you have and how long the old ones have been on and I live in the Northeast. All I can say is I had to have them installed at a shop 240.00 dollars later they were on and they ride great and look good too.I just wish I could have broke those bolts loose myself but I would do it again.

Had RS9000 and they finally went after almost 9 years on my Ford F250 PSD. I didn't really ever use the adjustable settings so I decided on the 5000s and so far I am happy. Ride is good.
