"I was not happy with the handling of my 02,Ford f-150,supercrew,off-road 4x4,5.4l,with only 41k on it.The original Goodyears had lots of miles left, but rode like 7yr old rocks.Changed to Michelin LTV-AT's and found some joy, but not enough to make me happy.Talked to my dealers' service mng.(why?);he said the stock Rancho's would last the life of the vehicle(not!).Took the plunge and ordered the Edelbrocks and found happiness!LF Rancho had NO rebound,RF stopped 1/3 out, both rears took @ 3 minutes to rebound.Install took about 3hrs.,two guys in the driveway. Rear shocks(no jack needed)mount inside frame rails,(tight quarters),a little tricky to get the top nuts on.Top in 1st on fnts.Joy at last!Tk rides GREAT! AA#1! inspector41"

"Went from totally blown original shocks to these puppies. As you might imagine, the difference is incredible. But not having purchased a mid grade shock I honestly can't say if I paid for name, marketing and reputation more than performance.
At any rate, they are going to get a work out!"

"I installed the shocks in a 1995 Chevy Caprice that now handles like a vette. The ride is not harsh ,as some performance shocks can be. Even over bumpy roads the car rides smoothly with plenty of control. If you are thinking of buying these shocks, think no more. Worth every cent. Another great purchase from AutoAnything. You guys have been great with pricing, delivery and customer service. Before I buy anything for my car I look to see if you have what I am looking for.
Thanks,
Joe S."

"These shocks have improved the ride of my 2000 4 wheel drive Expedition. The side to side sway is much reduced, turning is more confident. The shcoks also handle the potholes well with less thumping and noise.
I am more than pleased with the improved ride quality.
I wish they made these shocks for my other vehicles!!
Buy them for your SUV!!"

"Real impressive handling. These shocks happened to give my Dakota R/T its sporty feel once again without investing into the sport/racing shocks that my truck is supposedly limited to. Prior to this, I had other after market front shocks with less than 300 miles on them that looked as if they were shot already. It actually feels as if I'm driving now. The quality is just flawless and true to its description. One minor change is that I ended up cutting the boot off due to a fitting issue with the coils, but that wasn't a problem."

"I bought these shocks for my 2001 Crown Victoria. As an old Police car, it had heavy duty shocks on it that were probably original and were definitely blown.
The IAS shocks were easy to install and seemed to be high quality. The IAS's really seemed to have given the car a much smoother ride and stability in cornering. They are stiff enough to let you "feel" the road, but also dampen bumps nicely. The instructions were generic and a little hard to follow, but I would still highly recommend these shocks."

"The Edelbrock shocks have proven to be a good choice to replace the stock Rancho shocks on the front of my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4X4 - ride and handling is much improved.
One slight hitch on installation I found that I needed to clip the straps so I could further compress the shocks to install.
I may replace the stock rear shocks with the Edelbrock's also even though they do not seem to be worn as badly as the fronts were."

"I had just over 60K on my stock shocks which didn't seem that bad. But after getting the Edelbrock IAS, I got a smoother ride on the open highway and more control in turns and over bumps. So far I have no complaints. Time will tell on how long they hold up. So far so good."

"These shocks have corrected many many problems. The truck doesn't wheel hop on hard accel from a dead stop. I don't get the chatter on cornering acceleration I used to. The hard braking/cornering has been enhanced. All this for the same price as the original Rancho shocks. And the ride is so much better than before also."

"I've owned my Expedtion since it was new for 10 years now with the original OEM shocks. I own a boat and have driven for thousands of miles with the boat having it's way with the back end of my truck. Obviously, by now the shocks were shot! I can tell you for fact that these shocks make a difference that you will not believe. If you're not impressed, then you must not have replaced the original OEM shocks. I've driven my truck for 104K miles. The body no longer leans in turns, the ride is MUCH smoother. All bumps are handled like nothing. My truck drives like it was new again. I went on the premise that you get what you pay for...and these shocks delivered. Thanks Edelbrock."

"These shocks are just what I had thought they would be - awesome. There was slightly over 100,000 miles on my factory shocks and these new ones made huge difference. There is hardly any body roll at all when cornering and the ride is superior. I would definitely recommend these shocks to anyone!"
