Description

More than two decades ago, Inertia Active Systems shock technology (IAS) sent waves through the auto industry. The first shocks with this terrain-sensing capability were Edelbrock's Performer IAS Shocks, and they remain unmatched in ride quality today.

Built to suit any car, truck, SUV or van, Edelbrock Performer IAS Shocks know the road ahead. Staying rigid on the smooth roads for incredible handling and reduced body roll, these Edelbrock IAS Shocks provide the give needed when roads get rough, too.

Beyond comfort, you can rely on the Edelbrock name for quality. Each IAS Shocks is anchored by a rugged NitroSteel piston rod that outlasts flaky chrome rods. Mono-tube construction, rolled tube ends and Viton seals prevent leaks, while precise robotic welds complete the durable construction.

As the original IAS Shock, Edelbrock Performer Shocks sport a classic red finish with their famous logo. And, your Edelbrock Performer IAS Shocks carry a Lifetime Warranty.

"These shocks work good....installing them was a piece of cake. They look nice when you can see them. The price sucks but I guess you have to pay more for the good stuff..."

"My husband just had foot surgery and I was suprised how easy it was to install shocks. He did the overhead and I got underneath and it only took us about 30 min. to do the job!"

"Everyone knows how bad a 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive diesel truck rides, especially empty. At first I put the rear shocks on to smooth out the bucking but I was so impressed I ordered the fronts too. All I can say is WOW! These shocks work better than I could have ever imagined!"

"Replaced all four shocks on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, the first thing that was noticed was the truck felt solid. Handling was improved, and overall ride comfort. Edelbrock makes a sexy looking shock."

"At the time of this review I have only had the shocks on three days. The ride is stiffer but controlled off road, but have not as yet distinguished any real difference on road."

"I heard a great deal of positive comments about these on the Jeep Grand Cherokee forums so I decided to give them a try. Quality looks very good, and the install was easy with all the necessary hardware, etc. included with each shock. They are also very nice looking shocks...something I can't say is true for a set of Rancho's I ordered for my other car. Edelbrock seemed to put an extra bit of effort in the look of the shock and they look great installed (if you like Red that is!). Performance was as expected...not too stiff but definitely more firm that OEM equipment. Ride is good and going over bumps/holes is handled nicely. If you are looking for a good all around shock for your SUV, I do recommned these. AutoAnything was also great to work with, super fast on shipping, and very helpful on the phone during the order process."
