Me and a couple buddies installed the 2.5" lift kit(KC09114BK)on my 2011 Dodge 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 in about 2.5 hours. Overall the install was not to bad. Worth the money for a couple extra inches of clearance. Not sure how they figure that you can fit 35" tires as they advertise though.

Overall for the price and ease of installation it's a great value. Directions could have been more detailed but if you've got average mechanical abilities its an easy install.

So much so that without finding an installation writeup I would have had a MUCH rougher go at it. An additional tip: The day before you are doing the install spray all threaded areas that require removal. Before putting wrench to bolt clean the threaded areas with a die grinder and a scotchbrite pad. If you dont have air use a small wire brush and clean all of the road grime away.

I have a 2002 Tundra and the kit does not come with shocks. I want to replace the shocks when I put the kit on. Will I use stock length shocks or do the new shocks need to be longer and if so how much? Thanks!

I have no idea what to purchase I would like a overall 2" lift and would also like it to be level since I have changed to a heavy duty tube bumper. How do I know what to order for the best quality ride and look. I do not plan on doing any serious off roading.
