Description

For a set of hi-performance dampeners with both brains and brawn, the only choice is Trailmaster's SSV Shocks. Unlike traditional one-size-fits-all shocks, these premium parts are completely custom-valved for your unique year, make and model.

Your intelligent Trailmaster SSV Shocks utilize an advanced Speed Smart Valve system. It automatically senses the road conditions and makes on-the-fly adjustments. Whether you're slogging across rocky trails or cruising down the highway, your Trailmaster SSV Shocks deliver optimal handling.

Besides being incredibly smart, your Trailmaster SSV Shocks are also built like tanks. They boast a burly twin-tube design, heavy-duty 14mm carbon steel piston rod and a huge 2 3/8" diameter cylinder. And, their low-pressure nitrogen charge fights off oil foaming.

Don't worry about the elements. Your Trailmaster SSV Shocks have a rugged platinum-grey coating, urethane boot and thick bushings. And, they're covered by a Lifetime Warranty.

"They were fairly easy to install w/ an extra hand on the bottom bolts of front struts to line n' up. They ride a little on the stiff side on the road and perform well on bumps, turns and braking. Can't wait to try them offroad."

"I put these shocks all around my 99 silverado and it rides very nice. The rear shocks went on with no problems but the fronts have a couple of issues. The shock is so wide it hits the frame when its on a lift (but its fine when its lowered)also the shock bushing is a little to big so it wont seat 100%.Hopefully I wont have any problems but if I do its an easy fix with a bushing kit.So far all is good."

"I use my truck primarly for towing our 5th wheel camper and/or boat. These shocks are working great. The only minor issue I have with them is dealing with all the little parts that come with it so it can be adapted to work on many other models."

"I put a set up front. I could definitely tell the difference in the ride on the hy-way, the city and off-road. the shock articulates smoothly. I notice when I go up and down driveways for instance, a soft response. I also like that the boot is not sold seperately."
