"Since you can't adjust the headlights on the 05 Chevy Equinox, the Air Lift kit will raise the rear end and the oncoming won't curse you any more. I pull a 03 Honda Goldwing and the Air Lift system does a great job in leveling the Equinox and supports the additional weight."

"Although it took 4 hours to install, the directions were helpful on the flexibility of location. I was able to mount the items almost directly over the axle, (using a small piece of 1/4 inch flat bar for a spacer under the front of the lower brackets. At this location the bags were only about an inch compressed so the ride was unchanged with out the trailer, and with only 20lbs of air the trailer was completely level. No more dragging bumper. The only thing bad about the kit was that there needs to be more of the little squre spacers in it. On my 97 dodge 1500 4x4 the indents in the frame where I chose to locat the bags needed spacers on 6 of the bolts. I found that large flat washers worked fine."

Air lift kit #60788 for PT cruiser

"Installation was not quite as easy as the instructions lead me to bleave.
The protector washer needs to be thicker to keep from binching air line off .
I think a 90deg fitting at the top of air bag would work better."

2004 Honda Odyssey, Air Lift 1000 Kit
Posted on 11/07/2006 by Robert S. - 2004 Honda Odyssey (Armada,MI)

"We haul occasional heavy loads in our van and needed rear-end lift. No noticeable stiffness when air bags are at minimum inflation, and you can vary pressure to the size of the load. Doesn't raise level of van like air shocks would; just provides level ride when loaded. Very pleased with extremely fast (free) shipping by AUTO ANYTHING, and by clear and illustrated installation instructions. Took approx. 4 hrs installing, and didn't have to unbolt or remove any suspension components. Removing the rubber suspension bumpers inside the coil springs would have been much more difficult without the use of a reciprocating saw (Sawzall). The clamps provided for heat-shield kit too large for Honda tailpipe, and had to buy smaller ones for $2, but otherwise everything else was included and in sufficient quantity. Had to borrow a 3/4-inch drill bit to bore hole in bottom of suspension arm. Kit was cost-effective at a reasonable price with a 2-yr warranty---plus it was American-made in Michigan! I installed the air-chuck inside the gas cap door on the driver's side for ease of adding/checking bag pressures (used one line to feed both bags)."

INSTALLED ON HYUNDAI SANTA FE
Posted on 11/02/2006 by Victoria K. - 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe (Kingston,TN)

"Installed kit in 1-1/2 hours, fairly simple, hardest part was drilling clearance holes through double wall suspension arm for air tubing. The tube clamps could be a little more robust. Once installed these really improved load capacity - took a trip with four 200lb plus guys and all their luggage and the Santa Fe handled great and didnt sag a bit. A great improvement to the poor rear suspension of the Santa Fe. Would definitely recommend!"

"The kit was super easy to install. I has hoping it would lift the back of the van higher though, I only measured 1". However, seems to me much stiffer (which is good), should increase payload capacity as advertised. When inflated they squeek, but it's not very annoying, somewhat quiet."

2003 Honda Odyssey with Air Leveling Kit 1000

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"I just drove the van 600 miles and towed a 3,500 pound camper with the kit installed. The ride was much firmer and the trailer did not bounce around like it did before. The system worked as advertised. However, you cannot install the kit in one-hour. I had access to an Air Force Auto Skills Center (complete garage with lift) and it took me 3 1/2 hours with all the tools and equipment I needed. I highly recommed two people complete the job. One person can help push on the rubber mount when you cut it off and again when you cut it in half. Also, my exhaust heat shield clamps were way to big. I had to purchase new ones. Make sure you have a few extra electrical ties to secure your air lines. I had to purchase two extra ones."

"I purchased this kit to stiffen the suspension on my GTO when drag racing. The kit is easy to install and all the parts needed came with the kit. Best of all, when the I increase the air pressure, the rear end is solid. When I lower it to 5 lbs. it's as if I didn't change a thing."

"The car barely notices that it is pulling 3,000 lbs. It also has very little lean when cornering, yet, the ride is as smooth as ever. Installation was not difficult, but if you don't have a sawsall to cut off the bumpers inside the coil springs, it could take significantly longer than the two hours it took me to do the job."

Air Lifts Review 02 Nissan Pthfndr

"I purchased this kit to level my truck while towing my boat;1800 lbs and carrying
psngrs and gear. I had the mechanics install them. it took them over 2 hours. It was done perfectly. They do the job well with the 10lbs of air that was initially put in them. This was also the only product I could find for the 02 pathfndr for the very reasonable price.
I would recommend them HIGHLY. Price,Value,& Function. If they last 5 years or more. It will be a Steal. IF you drive Pthfndr
GO WITH THESE,the options are limited."

"Installed these on my G20 3/4 ton Chevy Van and my '05 Chrysler Town & Country. Fit was excellent - each install took about 2.5 hours. Use is simple and THEY WORK. I tried air shocks on the G20 with no luck. This solution just worked and had the surprising benefit of improving the ride quality too. With the Town & COuntry, this was the only practical way of being able to tow loads in a vehicle that did not originally come equipped with the factory tow package. I'm considering putting the automatic maintenance system on the Chrysler, but want to use the system for a few months before I install that too."

"The air lift leveling kit so far is performing as advertised. However, the advertised installation time (1 hour)is unrealisticly low. If your not superman, I would plan on at least 3 hours. It took me 6 hours since I'm a perfectionist and didn't have all the right tools. Other than that, the only other problem was with the hose clamps for the exhaust pipe heat shield. The clamps are too large for the exhaust pipe on my Honda Odyssey (especially since the installation required one clamp to be at a bend in the pipe where the pipe circumpherence is reduced). In the end, I'm happy with the product."
