Description

The holy grail of suspension technology is the perfect blend of ride comfort and load hauling capacity. In the past, auto builders had to choose one over the other. Today, with the Air Lift Leveling System, you get the best of both worlds—a smooth ride and plenty of backbone to haul the heaviest loads.

The secret behind the Air Lift Leveling System is simple: you control the firmness of the air bags. When you’re fully loaded or towing a trailer, fill them full of air to do away with sag, sway, bottoming out, roll and more. For everyday commuting, keep them deflated for a downy soft ride. Dragsters can also use the Air Lift Leveling System for greater rear-wheel traction at the speedway. With an Air Lift On Board Air Control System, you can even make on-the-fly adjustments as road conditions change.

The Air Lift Leveling System is custom-made from rugged materials for your coil over or leaf spring suspension. Most installations don’t even require drilling, and all include a Lifetime Warranty.

Good kit

Posted on 01/17/2008 by Donald S. - 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Keystone Heights,FL)

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful.

"All in all this is a nice way to level a vehicle. I put a winch bumper and a winch on my ZJ, using this air lift will raise the front end back to where it was before the added weight. Instructions are more "generic" than specific for my vehicle. The problems I had are for a 97 Jeep Cherokee you WILL have to drop the axles free from the vehicle and at a minimum take the lower part of the coil springs out to install this. NOTE to Jeep owners, if you have a BB lift you will have to either order this kit with larger air bags than what comes with the one for your application ( to make up for the spacing caused by the BB lift ) OR build new bumpstops to make up for the spacing caused by the lift. Wish I had realized this before or at least during the install, now I have to drop the axle again to put in new bumpstops to be able to use the leveling kit properly. BTW this is more like a 3-5 hour install than a 1-2."

Can't get it installed

"I have been asking all the garages around here to install these things for me and no-one will touch them. I am too old to be crawling under the car and doing it myself so I am going to send them back and just live with the sway and stuff."

Air-lift did the trick

Posted on 01/10/2008 by Tommy G. - 1997 Toyota 4Runner (Austin,TX)

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.

"My 97 4-runner was bottoming out on every speed bump and riding very rough on the highway. Due to the back being loaded with telecommunication equipment. Ride height had dropped 2.5" and the headlights were shining too far out. The air-lifts fixed all that allowing me to adjust back to original ride height and really smoothed out the ride (truly like riding on air). Added plus I can tow my boat with out unloading the back to offset the tongue weight. Great product and easy to install in two hours, if you can find your tools."

"I just came back from my first trip with the airlift 1000 installed. They worked as advertised, giving a firmer ride and preventing my van from bottoming out. I had the bladders filled up to 25 psi and had no problems."

4 of 6 people found the following review helpful.

"I had to have the air lift system installed because I carry a motorized mobility device for my mother and it is wonderful. Not only do I not sage any more when I carried the scooter I have noticed better handling and stability on curves and cornering. I my humble opinion the air lift system is wonderful and they sullied all the hardware necessary to install it. Good Job guys."

Great for towing

Posted on 11/30/2007 by Eugene H. - 2005 Toyota Tundra (St Petersburg,FL)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"This is my second set for Totota trucks and levels out the load. I usually have 500 kilos in bed plus a 1500 kilo boat on a trailer behind so critical to keep thruck level. Took about two hours to install as I wanted to exit the air lines next to the electrical plug so easy to adjust. I drive about 70,000 mile a year with half towing so used to how the truck feels. My T-100 has 455,000 miles and the Trunda now has 60,000 with 20,000 of those using the Air Lifts"

Used to remove the sag

Posted on 11/21/2007 by Darell D. (Davis,CA)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"I love these things. I've used them on my small pickup before, and finally getting around to using them on my Rav4EV. This is a battery electric car that weighs about 700 pounds more than the gasoline version. Any cargo in the back has me on the bump stops. Adding the air bags increased the handling all around, and removed the bump-stop jolt. A bit odd to put them in sideways in this application, though I see why it is needed! Wroks great."
