"I have a Chrysler mini van with stow and go seating. That mini van is really low to the ground. The Air Lift system is just what I needed for when I tow my small boat. Almost any small load would make me drag bottom before my air lift system. AIR LIFT works well and really easy to install if you are handy at all. A sharp drill bit is a must."

"I purchased the kit, received it in two days and installed it the same day, the kit is absolutely awsome, my overloaded little toyota tacoma now rides on air, it is better than when it was new. I had almost gone out to a spring shop to spend twice as much for a set of stiff springs but I am so glad that I didn't. To install I just needed to jack the truck up , remove the rear wheels and drill some holes for the brackets, something anyone can do...."

"Air-Lift has an excellent product, however, it is not as simple as it seems. They mention in the instructions you can make a 3/4 inch hole in the frame by drilling with a 1/2 bit and then enlarging the hole with a Roto-zip type tool. The metal is harder than the tool can handle. After a hour trying to enlarge the 1/2 hole, I decided it was much easier to buy the 3/4 inch drill bit instead at $19.94 (Home Depot). The instructions were for an Odyssey instead of specifically for the Pilot. The hole template did work, however. I did mount the valve stem next to the gas cap and it looks professional. Overall, I am happy with the kit. It allows me to tow a 3000 lb boat without rear sag."

Air Leveling Kit for 2004 Mustang GT Convertible.

"Ended up taking kit to a local shop for install. Took them 90 to put on. After initial install system deflated on my way home, a fitting popped off. Took it back for a quick remedy. System works best when maxxed out to the 35psi. Car looks and runs great and no more rubbing in the rear with those big massive tires that I put on. And the air leveling offers a better ride than the traditional air shocks. Nice kit would recommend."

"I installed the system myself, along with the single-guage control system. I don't do a lot of auto work, but this was much easier than I expected. The job does require you to make vehicle modifications (drilling holes in the frame, mostly), but it was all quite doable. I installed the whole thing in just over 3 hours. The hardest part was deciding where to mount the compressor (no vehicle-specific guidance given) and some of the directions didn't match the parts included, but a little improvisation never hurt anyone.
Once installed, the system works just as promised. I highly recommend these products."

"Generally, DIY self-install directions are way too optimistic on "time needed to complete". However, the Air Lift kit was complete, instructions were excellent, and the install was a breeze. I'm holding back a star because I haven't trailed with them yet."

Airlift 1000 Air Springs 1995 Olds 98
Posted on 08/28/2007 by Jeff H. - 1995 Oldsmobile 98 (Statesville,NC)
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
"wanted to take a moment and express how pleased I am thus far with the AirLift 1000 Air Spring. I own a 1995 Olds 98 with a 155,000 miles and cannot seem to depart with the vehicle. I have always loved everything about it except I did not have the support in the rear suspension for handling I would have liked. Well after stumbling upon your product , while searching for something totally different, I quickly review all the information you had on your site (i.e.: Installation Manual, On-Line Dealers) and made the decision to purchase. My cars has the 'self-leveling system' on it and it still works but I believe the springs have become a bit weak and I didn't want to invest in the $600 / $800 to replace the self adjusting shocks on a $2000 car.. Your product was the most logical alternative. I ordered last Thursday from Autoanything, com and received today at 11:00 am. I was test driving the installation at 1:00 pm. And I am excited to report that it has firmed the rear suspension and provided much better control in turns and dips. Thanks for a wonderful solution to my suspension need, I will be sharing the results with Friends and Family."

"Ordered the lift kit and it arrived in 4 days like most products you sell. One of the main mount brackets had to be sent back to Air LIft, but they replaced it w/in 3 days. Have had the opportunity to haul many heavy loads since installing the kit in June. Air the system up and the bed raises an inch or two, placed the load in the bed and it squatted maybe an inch. Most definately a needed accessory if the possibility exists of carrying any heavy loads w/your truck. Keeping the vehicle in its normal stance is worthwhile. Highly recommend Air Lift products."

"The air rides works very well on my 2005 GMC Sierra when pulling the 5th wheel. They take out most of the hitch slap on uneven roads.Instruction sheet should be clear on the use of self tapping bolts on the Sierra. Using the nut and bolt is very hard with this frame. If the instruction sheet called this out installation would be a breez."

"They work perfectly and were easy to install. I should mention that, unlike the instructions say, you should connect the air lines to the bags BEFORE they are put into the springs. You cannot reach the top of the bags once they are installed. Anyway, they cured my car's mushey ride and it is now level when I tow."
