    Description

The holy grail of suspension technology is the perfect blend of ride comfort and load hauling capacity. In the past, auto builders had to choose one over the other. Today, with the Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit, you get the best of both worlds—a smooth ride and plenty of backbone to haul the heaviest loads.

The secret behind the Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit is simple: you control the firmness of the air bags. When you’re fully loaded or towing a trailer, fill them full of air to do away with sag, sway, bottoming out, roll and more. For everyday commuting, keep them deflated for a downy soft ride. Dragsters can also use the Air Lift Leveling System for greater rear-wheel traction at the speedway. With an Air Lift On Board Air Control System, you can even make on-the-fly adjustments as road conditions change.

The Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit is custom-made from rugged materials for your coil over or leaf spring suspension. Most installations don’t even require drilling, and all include a Lifetime Warranty.

Our 635+ Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Hanging a spare tire and 2 fill gas cans, and jack off the butt end of my 2005 Rubicon LJ added a bit of an odd ride characteristic to my favorite play toy. However, after contemplating redoing the rear suspension, I decided to try the AirLift air bags first - what a phenomenal difference - the "jounce" was gone, and I have the ability to tow back again - ease of installation about 45 minutes a side - I run about about 15 psi in each side - and more importantly the wife LIKES riding it in again

Love this product! Air bags installed in about an hour, didnt even have to take the tires off the truck, just lifted the truck a little to roll around the ground on a creeper. Also installed the Single Controller Compressor kit-also a easy installation. Total kit makes the the truck lift easily with any load on it, and makes the ride a lot more comfortable with or without a load on it. Definately recommend these products to anyone!!

Overall installation was very easy. Did not like the spacers to raise lower bracket up over the U bolts. A couple of minutes with a cut off wheel really cleaned up the installation. A sharp bit and a good drill are a must.Side 1 took about 90 minutes -- side 2 took 35 minutes. Very happy with quality and performance of product.

The kit includes the air bags, brackets and mounting hardware. This is a basic kit which will function perfectly. For added convenience, you can add a compressor, tank and controller but they certainly are not necessary.

You can install just the kit and enjoy a far more comfortable and stable ride with your camper. Much of the weight of a camper is centered on inside of the bed and directly on top of the frame rails, so you should be fine, especially with an F-350. The benefit to adding a controller and compressor is that you can adjust the pressure in the airbags on the fly instead of manually adding or releasing pressure.

If your springs are sagging, you may be riding on an overload portion of the leaf which will give a very harsh ride. Even if this is not so, I would recommend leaving your leave springs in place as is and add the Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit. The kit will take some of the initial load off of the spring, smoothing the ride and won't affect ride height at lower pressures.

I bought this air bags for my Dodge Ram 2007 in order to carry the load of a fifth wheel trailer. I was impressed with the capacity these bags will carry. But as far as 5000lbs no. Even if they could your truck is designed to carry 1000lbs in the box if it's a 1500. The bearings for that truck is designed for that weight. Very good product though, you will be happy with them.
