Description

Rakes are great for cleaning up leaves, but a forward-raked suspension is a nightmare. Not only can it cause unexpected fishtailing around corners, but that forward slope also ruins a pickup's sleek lines. A Trailmaster Leveling Kit solves both of these automotive annoyances. You get an extra boost in front-end height, so your rig sits level and corners like a champ.

Unlike traditional lift kits, a Trailmaster Leveling Kit is incredibly straightforward to install. You won't need hacksaws, grinders or welding equipment to get this job done. Your Leveling Kit comes with either urethane or aluminum spacers that mount inside your coil springs. Select vehicles even get shocks and add-a-leafs as well.

Best of all, your factory ride quality is hardly fazed by your Trailmaster Leveling Kit. And, you won't have to worry about you rear-end swinging out when you're steering around a bend. What's more, Trailmaster covers your Leveling Kit with a Lifetime Warranty.

Notes

  • A select number of vehicles will require some minor drilling during the installation of your Trailmaster Leveling Kit.

"I really like my truck's appearance after installing the Trailmaster leveling kit; my truck now has a similar stance to a 4x4. The cornering ability of my F-150 has improved significantly after removing the factory rake. The leveling kit installation was relatively easy with mostly using regular tools (no air tools). I completed the job in about four hours mostly by myself requiring my son’s help only a couple of times. The instructions weren’t exactly like my truck’s set-up, but it wasn’t a stretch to figure out the difference. I consider that it takes a medium level of mechanical ability to complete this job. You will need a spring compressor to remove the old spacer from the strut assembly and install the new one from the kit. In addition to the spring compressors, the job does require a floor jack, jack stands, and a couple of large sockets and wrenches to complete. Using air tools would have made this a much easier job, especially compressing the struts."

"I am very happy with this kit, it gave my F-150 a great stance without a full-blown lift kit. However the kit is not easy to install yourself. I paid $120 and had it done at a shop."

"Excellent Product!!! Took it in to Sears for an alignment and techs swore it was going to need aditional spacers. They said that all trucks brought into them need an extension part that would cost an extra 100+ dollars. After placing it on lift, techs were surprised that very minute adjustments were needed. I would highly recommend product to anyone looking for a leveling kit. F-150 is currently sitting level:)"

Truck looks great.

"The spacers were a little more difficult to put in than I expected but in the end they make the truck level and look great. However, the instructions that were sent with my kit was for Dodge 2500 and I have a Dodge 1500 in which the front end is assembled differently. But a good solid product once installed."

Leveling kit

"The leveling kit is fine. The only thing wronge with it is now my truck is to high in the front. I have to do something with the back now. The kit was really to hard to do yourself. I had it put on by a shop in town. One thing I didn't like was delivery time. The money was taken out of my account that day [the 11th.]. I didn't get it until the 22nd. 11 days to recieve it. This was unacceptable. Thanks, Roger"
