Replaced original Bilstein shocks on 2006 Tacoma with 102,000 mi

I definitely could have kept original shocks on for a while yet, but thought there might be some lack of performance. I am the only owner of this truck. These shocks have greatly improved the cornering and I can feel a much quicker response to bumps. Labor was $500 with an alignment, so it was not an inexpensive decision. I am extremely satisfied with the investment since I treat this truck as if I will keep it indefinitely.

Very unhappy with the Bilstein shocks I recently installed on my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. The new shocks rattled from the very first bump, and don't seem to smooth the ride as they should. The old OEM shocks, with 104k miles, performed at least as well as the new shocks. Wow, I really got bilked, believing all the hype about Bilstein shocks!!!

Replaced the original shocks in my 2003 Ford F-150. Installed quite easily. Needed a way to keep the rear shocks compressed when removing the strap that they came with but figured that out quickly. The ride in the truck is now much better. Would recommend purchasing these as replacements for your vehicle.

    Good shock

Got a set for my heavily sprung 1 ton dually. The previous shocks were completely shot and provided no damping. The HD Bilsteins fit perfectly and the ride is quite good now. I've run Bilstein HDs on my VW for the last 15 years (never have changed the fronts) and they still perform well.

    well built
