Riding low to the street doesn’t just boost your handling, cornering and steering response. It also steps up your ride’s style, presence and attitude. But, piecing together all the components you need for a front and rear drop can be a real headache. Take the guesswork out of modifying your suspension with a Belltech Lowering Kit.
Everything you need to swing low in your sweet chariot is included with your Belltech Lowering Kit. Plus, some lowering kits can be customized with two types of performance shocks: OE-upgraded Nitro Drop 2 Shocks or super sport Street Performance Shocks.
With over 25 years of lowering experience under their belts, Belltech knows a thing or two about how to design and build your suspension upgrades. Thick slabs of steel, spiral wound springs and ductile iron form the backbone of your Lowering Kit. And, every kit also comes complete with premium mounting hardware, instructions and a Lifetime Warranty.
Our 10+ Belltech Lowering Kit customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Springs are stiffer than I expected. Also, you MUST order the rear lowering shocks with this kit. If you don't, the rear springs will not fit correctly. They do not tell you this. I wasted 5 days waiting for the shocks. Save yourself the time and hassle and order shocks as well.

I recently purchased the 3/5 Belltech kit.I had the kit installed at my local tire and wheel shop. I had a slight tire rub when turning on the front due to my wheel and tire combination.... 22in wheels and 305/40 tires, other than that It rides better than stock, handles great, and looks great. I would highly recommend this kit.

This kit definitely surpassed my expectations. Good price, excellent quality and awesome performance. Although you could install this kit with basic tools and a good cut off wheel, I recommend you do the install somewhere that you have access to a chassis lift and a way to remove the truck bed to save you LOTS of time. I did this kit myself at a good friend's body shop and having a lift to remove the bed and a handy torch made it possible for me to start-to-finish this project in about 3 hours.

Installed on 2012 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2wd. These Rams sit as high as the 4wd Ram 1500s.They need some drop. This drop kit makes a great looking truck even better. Ride is very good. Handles much better now. Also much easier to get in and out of. All great additions. Instructions are so-so. They do not address the need to drill a new hole for the panard bar to keep the rear axle centered. Or you can buy an aftermarket adjustable panard bar instead. Still,a great kit. Truck is lots of fun to drive.

Hi Dakota, Every truck is a bit different when it comes to ride height. A safe bet is to measure your truck before ordering.

Hi, While these kits will lower the back slightly more than the front, this is easily corrected with adjustable leaf spring shackles.

I was just wondering if the kit comes with all four springs and shocks or just the front two because the pic is only showing 2 springs.

I would like to lower my F250 Superduty 2wheel drive, 81 inch bed. It has 5" clearence over the front wheel and 8" over the back. If I could get it lower, say 4" or 5", especially the back end, then it would fit in the garage with the camper top installed. I rarely haul anything in the truck, the most being 800 lbs of tree branches. Seems like most of my miles come on the interstate. Is there a dealer somewhere near Brooksville Florida who could do the installation?

Hi Steven, It looks like this is only going to fit the V6 trucks. We may offer a set of Eibach springs to fit your truck.

im looking to lower my vehicle in the rear, to match the ride height of the front...what drop spring is requires ( 2"-3" ???)..also,wil this effect my air ride set up??? thanx
Answered by Nathan S. — May 03, 2012 4:23 PM 2005 Cadillac Escalade
You will need the 3-5" drop kit for the rear. For safety, I recommend having the air suspension recalibrated by the dealer after installation.

if i only get the coils to drop my s10 3'' in the front can i use stock shocks? or do i need to get both coils and shocks?
Answered by Nathan S. — May 03, 2012 4:25 PM 2005 Cadillac Escalade
Definately match your shocks to your ride height. Stock height shocks may bottom out, not only destroying themselves but also potentially damaging your shock mounts.
