I installed the 1" leveling kit on my 2006 Silverado. It was a quality part and raised my front end 1" just as claimed. There is still a slight down rake but the truck looks mostly level now. Ride quality feels the same as before. You have to get an alignment done after installation.

Put bigger tires on my truck, these were just what I needed to get rid of the tire rub in the well.

For the first time my truck sits level

I installed daystar KC09112 torsion keys to my 2004 dodge ram and for the first time my truck sits level. I do a lot of traveling with my truck and since I have installed the leveling kit my handling has improved on and off the highway. I now have room for bigger tires and I have a daystar limited lifetime warranty so I know daystar is going to stand behind their product. The truck has a noticeable greater ground clearance after I installed the leveling kit.

This kit was easy to install with the proper tools and only took about 1.5 hours. I align vehicles for a living so that was the real easy part but an alignment is definitely necessary after the install. The ride of the truck was not noticeably changed. Very happy with the kit.

It does exactly as it claims to do. The instructions could have used some pictures but was easy enough to figure out. Once one side was done it took about 5-10 minutes to complete the other. Overall install time was about an hour and a half. For my truck it made the front just about 1" higher than the rear. I am looking into doing the rear shackles now

    Would it look okay?

Hi I currently have an 2WD 05' F-150, with 265, 70, R17 tires and I would like to get a leveling kit. I'm planning on keeping my tires until they need to be replaced for bigger ones, so I was wondering if using a 1 inch level kit would make the truck look awkward with the tires that are on it? Help!

The correct spacer for my 2005 F150 4x4

Ive measured from top of rim to fender and its 2.5in lower in front than back, I was going to be safe and get a 2 in kit and level front with back. Does that sound right? I've heard that the factory level kit is just one inch though. Just wanting to make sure before I go get it.

Hi, While the 1" thick spacer seems small, the effect it has on the overall lift is around 2 1/2" inches when measured at the wheels. This is perfect if you want to fix the factory rake (rear higher than front stance). The 2 1/2" spacer jacks the front end higher than the back for what is more commonly called a "California lift".

    5mm and rubbing

My factory tire on my 2008 silverado was 275/55/20, come time to replace them I thought, hey why not go a little bigger, it shouldn't hurt anything to go up to a 275/60/20 right? Wrong! After double-checking with the saleperson at Sears that they would indeed fit, I went ahead and purchased and had them installed. The problem is they now rub on the back of the fender wall. My question is would a 1-1.5 inch lift alleviate this rubbing problem? I found a leveling kit at my local Pep Boys for $50, this will do both the front and rear of the truck. I am looking for a simple, effective, and cost efficient solution to this problem.
