Features

  • Keep your rig plumb and level without getting out of your cockpit with your Air Lift Load Controller II
  • When weight's piled on, freight's taken off, or roads become choppy, you can add or vent pressure for the perfect balance of firmness and ride quality
  • Your Air Lift Load Controller II comes in a single or dual system:
  • Single Gauge Load Controller II: lets you fill both rear shocks simultaneously for even front-to-rear leveling—ideal for pickups with light trailers, heavy vans and SUVs, and cars with rear coil springs
  • Dual Gauge Load Controller II: allows either simultaneous front-to-rear leveling or side-to-side adjustments—great for pickups with campers and motorhomes with rear air springs
  • The gauge(s) on your Load Controller II give(s) you real-time readings of your Air Lift Leveling System's pressure
  • Protects your Air Lift Leveling System—built-in low pressure sensor automatically adds extra air to your shocks if they fall below the minimum safe level
  • Your Load Controller II uses Air Lift's exclusive wiring harness for an easier installation
  • Kit comes complete with all necessary parts, including an air compressor, dash panel, wiring, hardware and detailed installation instructions
  • Backed by a 2-year "unlimited mileage" warranty

Description

Without an on board air system, making adjustments to your air shocks means breaking out your air compressor, crawling around under your rig, and wasting a lot of time. Plus, you can't adjust the shocks once you start rolling. The practical solution to these pesky problems is the Load Controller II. It puts the power to fine-tune your air shocks right at your fingertips.

When road conditions vary, weight shifts around, or freight changes, you can make on-the-fly corrections to your leveling system with the Load Controller II. Simply press the switch, watch the gauge go up or down, and enjoy the ideal ride height. The standard single setup gives you total front-to-back control, and the dual kit allows either side-to-side tuning or front-to-back control. Plus, the integrated low pressure sensor prevents under inflation and premature wear.

From the exclusive wiring harness to the air compressor, your Load Controller II comes complete for a painless installation. Includes a 2-year warranty.

Notes

  • Mounting your Load Controller II's air compressor does require some drilling.

"I have a 98 Grand Cherokee two wheel drive and I pull a 21ft Tahoe Q6 run about. I needed to give the back end a little help when the Jeep was loaded down with gear and people. The air bags went in great and the systems works just as I hoped it would. I get a great level ride with the jeep loaded down and have the ability to soften the ride once unloaded. Great system for the price!"

"The product worked great but we were a little picky on where and how to mount the unit so it took quite some time. One thing it could use would be more air line or to leave the air line all in bulk and let you cut each piece to the length that you need. We also opted to mount the compressor unit under the hood. With living in WI the salt and winter conditions will stay clear of the unit this way. Overall great unit so far."

"Possibly due to my anal nature, this item took me, 3 times longer to install, also I spoke to a freind that installs these often, he recommended that I forgo installing the low pressure sensors, as they continually fail and cause problems, so this item I did not install. The entire system does what it advertises, although the ride quality that so many say is not changed, after installation, is not altogether true. The ride quality was definitely altered, noticeably "stiffer" yet not so much so that I wouldn't have installed this item. This is definitely not for someone who is not, mechanically minded or someone who cannot deviate from directions. You definitely have to be an "out of the box" thinker and able to adapt to different situations, per your vehicle."

"Installed the Air Lift 5000 with the Controller 11. The installation took several hours to route the airlines neatly and run the wires properly. I tapped the power for the lights for the gauges off the power line for the compressor. You need to get your power from the fuse box under the hood (key switch hot). The compressor is mounted under the hood, drivers side. Once installed properly everything works perfectly. No more headlights pointed in the sky!"

"The controller was not a problem to install once I got some clarifications from the tech department (not available on weekends) and some hints from an Avalanche owners website. The instructions would be better if it offered some recommendations on where to mount the compressor and where to pass the lines through the firewall; I understand these are vehicle specific, but general recommendations could be given (i.e. I thought the compressor was meant to be mounted under the hood (safe from the elements), but there was not enough air- line in the kit for this. The tech support mentioned that it is water resistant and a lot of people mount it above the spare tire...that is what I ended up doing, but hints like that should be in the instruction manual."

"Good unit for the price. Only one design change needed. When running air bags in the "maintain minimum pressure" state it kicks in after relieving the pressure on the bags by going over a bump. A time delay installed on the low pressure sensor circuit should recitfy the issue, or running the pressure 5-10 pounds over the minimum required lessens the frequency of occurrence."

"Installed system on my F-350 to help level it out when pulling my 40ft fifth wheel. Pretty easy to install, little bit of grinding needed to adjust it with a B&W 5th wheel hitch. All in all very good product."
