"Seems to be very solid construction. I have tried several other 12 volt portable auto air compressors, but they all seemed to have a problem with overheating after a few minutes of operation. With the VIAIR 70P, I added 10 to 15 psi to 12 different tires in about 15 minutes. No problems with overheating at all! I am very satisfied."

"My feedback is similar to what everybody else said that helped me decide to buy this compressor. I have used the less expensive ones before and consider them semi-usefull junk. They are so loud and slow they are barely better than nothing. The Viair 70P is not at all like that. It is quiet and powerful. The air hose is soft rubber with what looks like a brass connector to the valve stem that attachs without leaking. The bag is plenty big to hold everything and seems well made. For the minor difference in price between the Viair 70P and the cheapest available compressor, you get an awful lot. If you need to, wait until you can affort the Viair, do not buy something cheaper. You will regret it."

"When you make an "on-line" purchase based on product information and reviews, it's heartening when you receive the product and find both the product information and the reviews are accurate and honest. Such is the case when I researched the internet to find a quality potable air compressor. The VIAIR 70P Portable Air Compressor is indeed as advertised and reviewed by other purchasers...an excellent product!"

"I have used the inexpensive or a better word is 'cheap' air compressors in the past and they were always loud and really didn't pump much air. This bad boy is the real deal and would recommend to anyone who doesn't want the hassle of stopping at a gas station and paying 75 cents to fill up your tires only to have the machine shut off when you're almost done. The 70P is quiet and really pumps air. Doesn't take long to check and adjust all four tires. You do need a tire guage to be accurate. It is a quality unit, well built and I am guessing will last a long time. Comes with accessories for filling up inflatable toys, basket balls etc. I would recommend this for anyone and am thinking of giving them as presents. Don't forget the money you can save on gas with properly inflated tires."

"Used it to top off the car tires. It fits perfectly on the tire and the air loss that people complain about is minimal. You can push a little when unscrewing and that gives even less loss. Power line to the 12V outlet is long enough to get to both sides. Sound is low. It hums a little but not more that the car engine (I start up the car to prevent the battery from draining) and you easily sit next to it while pumping. To get an accurate reading you have to shut off the pump as the needle will drop about 1 or 2 psi, but that is not a problem. Build quality is good; it is metal and feels very sturdy. It fits nicely in the bag that comes with it. I would recommend it to all!"

"I used the VIAIR 70P to inflate my trailer tires and Air Lift air shocks. Perfect! My SUV has a 12V outlet in the rear compartment and, with the long power cord, easily reached the trailer wheels while hitched. Inflation time was acceptable and it's super quiet. The carrying case is also a nice touch. No complaints whatsoever!"

"Very solid construction - much better than the average store bought air compressors. But one thing to note is that the valve needs to be screwed onto your tire valve. This may or may not appeal to everyone... Other than that I can't find any faults with it."

"The quality of construction is much better than other brands that I considered. I am sure that the durability will also be another plus. The size is perfect to carry with me. But above all else, for such a compact unit, it performs exceptionally well. Time will tell but I am sure that this compressor is going to serve me well. Thus far, I would highly recommend it."

"I was looking for something dependable to carry in my vehicle for emergencies, as well as for bikes, balls, etc. I was also looking at the Slime compo 6 which is similar, but $20. more. I'm glad I went with the VIAR 70P. It's sturdy, quiet, powerful, and comes with a sturdy canvas case. I inflated bike and wagon tires and balls quickly and effortlessly. I have not used it on my suv's tires yet, but I'm confident it would get the job done. My order arrived quickly, with free shipping."

"I was worried when I saw how small it is but It pumped 20lbs psi into 4 SUV tires without a break with no problem at all. Its light, easy to use and extremely quiet. I live in an apartment so being able to plug into the cigarette lighter is great. I have tried several other compressors but all were very poor quality so I did not have alot of hope for this one either but I have been very pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend it for anyone."

"The 70P is small and powerful. IT WORKS....and quickly. I needed emergency air so I could get home, The rear tire had a slow leak. I had a cheap plastic compressor with one of those crappy black air chucks. I lost more air instead of inflating the tire. That was the last time I get into that situation. I bought several 70P's. One for each car. The price is right. The quality is excellent. The screw on chuck is easy to attach to the air valve stem. The 12V plug- in connector is a pleasure. I'm prepared and confident if I need Air. You will not regret buying a 70P."
