"Seems very well made for the money. Fills tires faster than most small pumps. I have not used it that much, but I think I will be very happy with this purchase in the long run."

"A few months ago I purchased the VIAIR 90P Portable Air Compressor to keep in my trunk for emergency. Two items I like to have in my trunk are a 12 Volt power pack and a portable air compressor. I was so impressed with the VIAIR 90P Portable Air Compressor, that I purchased one for my wife's car. I purchased the VIAIR 80P Portable Air Compressor for her car instead of the 90 because the 90 has a button to let air out of the tire and my wife would accidentally hit the button.
In testing the unit, I completely deflated a tire on my Crown-Vic and to my amazement, I inflated the tire in exactly two minutes."

"I am impressed with the quality of this compressor. It is the absolute portable compressor that I have purchased/use in my 51 years of driving and maintaining automobiles. As soon as it arrived, I used it to immediately add air to eight tires. It was fast and did not get too hot to touch! Thanks for providing such a great product at an excellent price.

"Received the unit in a couple of days. Unit is compact, QUIET!, directions are straight-forward.
I've used it just once so-far; low tire pressure from extreme cold; worked great in the cold conditions; (-25 wind-chill).
Summary; quiet, efficient, quick, convenient."

"I was looking for a more convenient (and easier way) to maintain my tire pressures, especially during the winter months. Honestly, who wants to be out out in the cold at some gas statin using their coin operated machine for air. You can use this in the safety and comfort of your own garage to maintain all your car's pressures. The small design also makes it easy to transport anywhere.
My only con here, is that there is no wall AC adapter. You have to either plug it into your car battery, or external batter starter. The pressure guage seems to flucuate...around 4-5psi above what the actual pressure is.
However for the price, its a a great deal. Im not sure exactly what types of tires this is recommended for, but I use it on my cars that range from 215's to 245's. It is also excelletn for other uses as well (beach toys, bballs, etc)"

"I bought this unit to replace an old one that took forever to fill up the tires on my car. This is a powerful unit that inflated the tire in about three minutes. It is easy to use. The only thing I did not realize was that it connected to the battery not the cigarette lighter. It was not a problem for me but if you don't want to be bothered make sure you buy the unit that has the cigarette lighter adapter."

"Primary : A servicable air line , I will be taking this or another ViAir 12v air compressor to the Philippines
Secondary : A litttle longer power cord , 2-3 feet/3 meters would be nice
The best I have found so far , you should carry " Safety Seal " Tire repair products as an addition , anyone who is in remote areas , etc. needs their Tire repair products"

"I bought it for my SCCA Autocross events. Works beautifully! VIAIR 80P will inflate your tires in no time. I mostly use it to add 3-5 psi and it does it seconds. The power cord is long enough to reach to rear tires with no problem. This is compact, lightweight and easy to carry compressor. Would highly recommend it – very well built device."
