    After much research regarding the Gabriel brand shocks, I could not find any negative reviews. The addition of the rebate and the price match from AutoAnything solidified the deal. The shocks were quite easy to replace on my 2003 Dodge Durango 2wd. However, I feel that they are not as "beefy" as I was hoping or anticipating. I expected a much more smoother ride than I was used to with factory shocks at 83,000 miles. Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been.

    These shocks are a bit stiffer than factory shocks, but overall they are they have a good ride and fairly quite.

    Not smooth like oem, but the ride and stopping is much improved

    Installation is pretty simple if you have air tools. Stopping distance is improved and they work pretty well. We will see how long they last since I have read reviews that say they they do not last as long as other shock brands. I looked on Gabriel's website and did not find information on warranty and it worries me. But so far so good....fingers crossed....

    Direct replacement for the original Matrix struts. Don't forget to buy the strut mounts.

    Hello. The Gabriel Ultra Shocks will come with everything needed to install. Usually with shocks it will re-use the hardware off of your vehicle. Rubber bushings it will come with, I'm talking about the bolts, nuts washers etc.
