74 CJ5. Working fine with new steering gear and can now drive 50-60 mph if great care is observed. I have a Dana 30 differential on front axle. Cover plate protrudes more than some others and causes a fitment problem with the Skyjacker which is fatter than replaced stabilizer. Axle mount must be very close to springs on driver side and orientation is critical to prevent binding or rubbing on differential. Patience and small adjustments required. Tool a couple of hours solo.

I ordered the 7000 steering stabilizer to accompany the 8000 shocks comparing them to the Rancho same package. Saving a few bucks I decided to go with Skyjacker. Steering stabilizer missing axel bracket and came with extra tie rod bracket. 1 of the shocks missing a bushing. Needless to say in middle of the project now waiting for parts missing out of the box. Not AutoAnythings fault items shipped from manufacturers but a week later and still waiting.

My '77 CJ-7 has a 4" lift with 35" BFG Mud Terrains on 15x10 Mickey Thompsons. The jeep had a lot of bounce steering issues. I installed one Skyjacker 7000 stabilizer and it nearly eliminated it entirely. I will probably install a dual kit later, but for now I am very happy with the single Skyjacker setup. Dan

Got rid of the steering shimmy during rough trail riding. Thought that it was going to replace the existing oem dampner, but it is a separate install. Other than that, the installation was fairly easy. Picture on instructions was not helpful. Great product for the price.

Easy to install, stopped about half of my shimmy, I am running 36x13 16 tsl's so it works pretty good. overall I think it was a good purchase.
