DIFFICULT TO PREPARE FOR INSTALL

gETTING THE RED RUBBER AND THEN THE METAL BRACE INTO THE UPPER PART OF SHOCK IS A PAIN IN THE ARSE. Other than that no issue. Would be much easier if came preinstalled, and why do shock makers not give you new bolts and screws etc with new shocks.

Put these on in half an hour and couldn't be happier. Smoother ride and inexpensive!

Great Ride for Rubicon Unlimited

Used these with Rough Country 2.5 inch dual rate coils, went with a slightly longer shock because I wanted the additional down travel, left me with about 5 inches of up travel, that's a personal choice though. I much prefer the way these ride to the Bilstein 5100s that were in the jeep when I bought it. I'm sure if you're building a dedicated trail rig you'd want to go with a nitrogen shock but for ride comfort and everyday use I'm very impressed with these.

these ride great on the street, and seem to do what i want them to off road. the pro comps i was running rode like a rock on the street, and i went through 2 sets of them in a year and a half. hopefully these will last longer, but so far i like them a lot. my wife wondered what i did to make it ride nicer in town,

Great shock for the money

I installed these in the rear of my 2002 jeep tj . They ride nice and soft not to stiff. Only time will tell if they hold up.
