Intro "white-label" absorbers, so I got what I paid 4 (presumably U know what U want). On a ZJ ('98 Jeep), the lower bushing & mounting pin/bracket do not come pre-installed, so one must have a vice & (2) deep-well sockets or contraption for pressing the assembly (pin/bracket slid into bushing) into the bottom ring. I used WD-40 on a whim, plus vice & sockets, w/ light hammering to center. 2 weeks: working as expected. COI: I was motivated to leave this "Review" by a $10 coupon from SkyJacker.

My jeep had some old worn out shocks and was bouncing a bit. Put these bad boys on and they look and perform terrific. Only trouble i had was getting the t thru the rubber bushing. A little silicone and pushing it thru with a socket i was good to go.

Used these with Rough Country 2.5 inch dual rate coils, went with a slightly longer shock because I wanted the additional down travel, left me with about 5 inches of up travel, that's a personal choice though. I much prefer the way these ride to the Bilstein 5100s that were in the jeep when I bought it. I'm sure if you're building a dedicated trail rig you'd want to go with a nitrogen shock but for ride comfort and everyday use I'm very impressed with these.
