They're shocks. It was worth it for the price. They're not Bilstein 5100's but they're not crap either. Easy as hell to install... after I realized my vice grip was broken.. ha

My old shocks were shot. I needed a good replacement shock that would also for my Chevy Avalanche which has a leveling lift kit installed. These fit the bill just fine.

I have always felt that the stock shocks on my 2006 GMC Sierra crew cab 4wd were just too soft. I would get a sway in the back of the truck over rough roads and freeways and at times the rear axle felt it was bouncing around. After replacing the stock shocks with the Skyjacker Nitro 8000 I could feel an immediate improvement. The truck rides firm in the back without feeling harsh or overly rough. In my opinion for the money these shocks cannot be beat.
