I bought the RS5000 series specific shocks for a 2000 Land Cruiser. The front shocks work well, but the RS5359 (rear application) were useless for the Land Cruiser (no dampening). I pulled them off and compared them to the 7-year old Bilsteins that I pulled off and there was no comparison....the Bilsteins (even 7-years old) still were much better. I reinstalled the Bilstein rear shocks. Front RS5358 and Bilstein rear provide a good ride with low body roll and good dampening.

Made a world of difference in my 1996 Toyota Landcruiser, smooth yet firm ride better handling gained about 1 in. ride height. Front shock bolts were difficult to remove because of the age, rear were fairly easy.

These have improved the handling of my Landcruiser greatly. My only complaint is the lack of any owners manual/installation guide/warranty card in the package. It can be difficult to remove old shocks as the bolts have a way of corroding. Unless you're a serious mechanic, get a shop to install these. My mechanic installed them for $80, money well spent IMHO.
