Replaced original Rancho shocks with 185,000 miles. Old ones had no leaks but rubber bushings shot. New shocks improved ride, reduced rebound, worth every penny.

I purchased these to replace my rusty old stock shocks on my 01 F150 4x4. They were easy to install and look great. The RS5000's helped reduce the bouncing issues on the highway, and does even better with some weight in the bed. I would imagine the higher end ones would work even better, but I'm happy with the performance so far. I would recommend this as a replacement for the stock level equipment.

This is my second set of Ranchos. Unbeatable value, nice -- near stock ride. Maybe a little more busy on a rough road and slightly more harsh than stock. Was on the fence between Bilstein HDs and Ranchos. Ultimately made choice to support a U.S. company! I would recommend them for any F150, but maybe not for a lighter vehicle. Service from Auto Anything exceeded expectations, outstanding!

Ordered the Rancho RS5000 and they arrived really quickly. In the process of installation discovered that not all the parts were in the box. Called the helpline and was told that had wait 24 to 48 hours for the company to respond to the email that was sent them. Eight days later I received parts in the mail. Opened box incorrect parts, called the helpline again and explain receiving the wrong parts. Was told again I would have to wait 24 to 48 hours for response. After more 12 days no part. Done.

The most difficult part was removing the old shocks. I live in Wisconsin so that is to be expected. Salt, rust etc... We had to torch off 3 of the 4 top stud bolts. The bottom bolts came off easy. I sprayed penitrating fluid on every connection once a day for the whole week leading up to the Saturday that we installed them. Instulation took about an hour and a half. Truck is like new again. Better control, doesn't roll left to right near as bad when cornering. Very smooth ride.
