After getting sick of being bumped around by my wobbling truck on the freeway I decided to get some shocks that would absorb the movement. I figured ranching would do the job. I definitely noticed a difference but still get the wobble I did before. It might be because my truck is a long bed? Plus the front shocks were an inch shorter so installation wasn't a breeze like it could've been.

My shopping experience was perfect. The shocks themselves seem to be a simple OEM replacement and I am not able to tell a difference. I was after a bit stiffer ride but there appears to be no good way to evalute until they are on the vehicle.

So I placed the order everything arrived. I was surprised how easily the pistons moved in and out just by using my hands. Well I installed them and drove around the street thinking cool. They were soft not stiff like i've read. I was like well all this hype must be good! I went Off Road and went about 20 feet at 20 miles an hour in washboards before I stopped and turned around..(My Dash and front end would have been destroyed) Ordered a second full set same thing...Ordered Gabriel Shocks Front and Rear. Hit those washBoards at 50+ Fell like driving down a Country road in Spring. Dont buy

The Rancho RS5000 is the best shock for the money, in my opinion. It delivers a great ride while having the capabilities of handling a heavy load. AutoAnything offers great prices and spectacular service.
