Installation instructions are very clear as provided by Air Lift for the #57298 kit. Construction is very sturdy with heavy metal mounting brackets. However, because brackets for the Reese 16K 5th wheel hitch are located where the rear bag brackets must also be installed, a great deal of drilling is required. A drill press is almost a requirement unless a very heavy duty hand-held drill (and a lot of muscle) are available. Longer screws are needed to go through the rear bag & hitch brackets.

Installation of the system was simple. The only problem was that the direction quoted what tools you will need was not totally correct. The sizes for the wrenches were off, but easy to replace. As for drilling you'll need a drill bit sharpener or multiple bits to drill through the brackets and the body. Once installed the differences in the handling and ride was noticeably different without the air lift bags. Should have installed them earlier if I have known it made the ride smoother.

All parts were exact fit, and kit was complete. Only change I would make would be to use compression fittings instead of the push on fittings to reduce leaks.

i bought the kit that is for trucks with a 5th wheel hitch installed. found it would have been easier without the 5th wheel kit. hardest part was mounting top brackets, rest was easy. unit does exactly as advertised, keeps my 250 level pulling my 34ft 10,000lb 5th wheel, ride is excellent... love the low pressure sensor, keeps it at regulated pressure, always... SUPER PRODUCT highly recommend to all that tow light or heavy.
