I run a small farm and having an air system handy outside the shop is a great thing. My only complaint was that the air chuck is hard plumbed onto the air hose. But I fixed that for a few dollars more.

Can't go wrong with Viair!

I put another brand of on board air system on my previous truck and I must say the Viair is a much better unit. Simple installation, straight forward and Viair has a stong and trusted reputation.

works good

RAM 2500 07.5 quad-cab. Ease of mounting could be improved w/suggestions. Wanted to install the tank and compressor upright so the bleed valve could be on the bottom instead of on the side should it be side mounted onto the unside frame. Did not want to drill holes in the truck's tube frame and besides the tank and compressor mounting scews seems too small if side mounted for the amount of vibration it would be subject to. .... Clamped on two 10" 90 degree corner braces (Lowes) to build a rack with mounting rails onto the frame. Parts provided suggest a loosely hanging quick air connection. Including half inch brass 90 and T manifold for a rigid quick connect would have been helpful. Connections for the unit was very easy.

I bought this system to power a trainhorn. The system was fairly easy to install. The hardest part was finding the room for it under my truck. System works great for the horns as well as other air tools. Would recommend for most applications.

Thumbs up

Very good design. Installation took a little more than I thought. It was difficult to find a location under my 2007 Dodge 2500 Mega cab to get everything close enough make all the require connections. Installation not for everyone. The unit works very well! Overall, very happy with it and AutoAnything!
