Firestone airbags work great I don't know how I went so many years without definitely a big improvement when towing my boat

I use my 1/2 ton Chevy to pull a car trailer. Before adding the Ride Rite Kit, the weight of the loaded trailer caused the rear of the truck to drop significantly, which caused the front of the truck to be high and somewhat light. With the Ride Rite Air Bags, the truck sits level and handles better when towing. Installation was pretty simple and took about 6 hours using a 4 post lift. The AutoAnything staff was helpful, their price was the lowest I found, but the kit didn't ship for a week.

The kit came on time and everything was in it. Instructions were clear and kit was easy enought to install even for an older person like myself. Ordering over the phone was much easier to ensure that the right kit was purchased. Their person was very helpful and knowledgable.

They seem like good quality, installation took a while "i did them by myself", the second one went faster. The only complaint is they did not position perfectly straight kind of angled or skewed, however no problems with the function

I bought these for my 1998 K2500 chevy with a 6.5 diesel and NV4500 five speed manual. I tow a tandem axle 16 foot trailer that is close to 3000lbs empty weekly. I bought these to help with controlling the sag at the rear end. I just installed new front end parts in my truck and these will help to prolong the life of my new ball joints and tie rods. along with providing a smoother ride over bumps. very happy with the quality and the service of auto anything and Firestone.

I had to do a few modifications on the kit to make it fit on the passenger side so that it was sitting properly on the axle, that is to say plumb;straight up and down. I suppose with all the different vehicle makes and models that there will be some need for changes. In this case it was the shock absorber mount and the bottom plate for the air bag suspension were in each others way so I cut a notch in the plate to allow for the shackle bolt.No problem other than that. Overall,I'm impressed with the product so far. Edwin
