I put these on my 02 VW Golf and they work very well. The car is lowered about 2 inches and these shocks work well on lowered vehicles. They make curves a lot of fun and still do a good job soaking up bumps.

I only gave the STR.T orange shocks a 4 star rating because I feel the only thing they lack is adjustability. For a "value" shock/strut, they perform very well. I have them mated with H&R Sport Springs, and the combination of the two is very nice for my daily driver. The springs handle my car very well, but the STR.T shocks are what makes the ride comfortable. They provide a soft enough experience for daily driving, but a stiffness that is acceptable for a bit more spirited driving.

Install took roughly 30 minutes from start to finish for each side. I recommend buying new mounting hardware along with the shocks. Ride is a little stiffer than OEM shocks which is what I was looking for. I have factory coil springs currently but I feel this would be a good, budget shock to compliment lowering springs. I have had them installed for a few weeks and so far I have no complaints, especially for the price.
