These are the shocks every Jeep forum recommends for non-lifted Jeeps. I installed my front shocks in under an hour. The hardest part was getting the old stock shocks out! I plan on doing the rears shortly as well with the Bilstein 4600 Rear shocks. My ride is already noticeably improved - couldn't be happier and the prices at Autoanything are the best!

Having installed KYB shocks at about 150,000 miles, I figured it was time for new shocks, at 665,000 miles. I mean lifetime warranties only go so far. Was I surprised at the return of a smoother, more controlled ride. Funny, as time and miles slip by how we don't notice our ride getting bad.

Bought these shocks when Bilstein was moving their factory, so they were on backorder for a while. Finally got them in and put them on my Jeep WJ, and it's like driving a new Jeep. Ride quality is amazing, very little body roll, and install was easy because the engineers put an allen wrench spot on top of the shaft to tighten them without having to secure the shaft below. Worth every penny, scraped knuckle, and curse word. Autoanything was great through the process, always updating me on ETA.

After research to replace our Jeep's shocks, I went with the Bilsteins due to their high quality and AutoAnything's outstanding price. A great value proposition. They will be used in many conditions (on highway and off; snow, ice, dirt, sand, etc.). Immediately noticed improved handling control and comfort level. I'm a long term AutoAnything customer and have experienced outstanding service every time (professional staff, treated with respect, products delivered as promised).

Bilstein Heavy Dutys are awesome. My Jeep rides like a truck. A darn comfortable one. Low body roll around turns and these shocks suck up the huge missing chunks out of the asphalt like you have pillows where your tires should be. Great purchase. Great price.

The Bilstein shocks fit the grand cherokee perfectly, give very consistent control and good firm ride. I have again found the small added cost of Bilsteins well worth the money. As much work as it is to change out, you might as well go first class.
