I've bought more expensive and payed less for shocks, but Bilstein are the best shock for their money. I got as good as any factory ride now !

I definitely recommend these shocks. I put them on my Toyota Tacoma and the ride was so much better. I was not all over the road when I hit a bump. I liked them so much I just bought shocks for the front.

These were the OEM shocks and I was happy with their performance so even though I was replacing them due to the front driver side breaking and all being extremely corroded. My mechanic was unable to get them through his distributor so it was Autoanything.com to the rescue! Saved hundreds as he would have changed me full retail. Did not realize that next day air is BUSINESS DAY so my Friday order arrived Monday not Saturday...oh well my fault for not reading fine print on FedEx website.

Replaced the original rear Bilstein shocks with these. The truck would bottom out on bumps and dips when towing our tent trailer with the original shocks (52,000 miles). These looked to be a heavier shock by looking at the size of the tube. The new Bilsteins firmed up the ride and the truck doesn't bottom out anymore. The only problem was that the one bushing was incorrect. Should have included a shouldered bushing for the upper shock mount. I had to reuse the old bushing hence the 4 star rating

I replaced my stock Bilsteins on the rear of my tacoma after taking it to my local Toyota dealer and having them tell me nothing was wrong with my suspension - come to find out one was seized up and the shaft bent then broke, put the new ones on and it rides like a dream- can't wait to replace the fronts!

So far so good (I only have a couple of hundred miles on them). Definitely an upgrade. The rear shocks went on easy but the front struts were a little more work; there's a youtube video that shows how to install struts (a.k.a. coilover shocks) for the Tacoma without a spring compressor and it works like a dream.

I bought these shocks for my Tacoma and they have made a great difference in my ride and height of the vehicle. I recommend them.

Just replaced the rear shocks with a set of Bilsteins and could tell a difference right away. It stiffened the back end back up and I can tell when I'm off road now. I just can't wait until I get the fromt shocks replaced. They lived up to the Bilstein reputation.
