Great shocks for the rear of my Toyota Tacoma pickup. Easy to install took about 20 minutes for both. Have not installed the struts yet will take vehicle in to shop to have installed as i don't have a spring compression tool. I would recommend these shocks at a great price through AutoAnything.Com

These were the OEM shocks and I was happy with their performance so even though I was replacing them due to the front driver side breaking and all being extremely corroded. My mechanic was unable to get them through his distributor so it was Autoanything.com to the rescue! Saved hundreds as he would have changed me full retail. Did not realize that next day air is BUSINESS DAY so my Friday order arrived Monday not Saturday...oh well my fault for not reading fine print on FedEx website.

What a difference

I had no idea how badly I needed shocks - wow what a difference, now my 2007 FJ handles so much better on and off pavement. If you already have a lift kit - safe money and get these instead of the 5100.

I definitely could have kept original shocks on for a while yet, but thought there might be some lack of performance. I am the only owner of this truck. These shocks have greatly improved the cornering and I can feel a much quicker response to bumps. Labor was $500 with an alignment, so it was not an inexpensive decision. I am extremely satisfied with the investment since I treat this truck as if I will keep it indefinitely.

My 2006 Toyota Takoma 2WD Prerunner with Off-Road Package, factory equipped with Blisteins. I was pleased with the rears, but felt the fronts were a little on the light side when driving off-road. The Blistein heavy duty shocks I bought to replace the fronts appear to be larger diameter. They are definitely firmer yet provide a very comfortable street ride. I use my truck as an every-day vehicle with bi-weekly towing of a good sized boat. I drive off-road and 2-tracks when on vacation.

excellent heavy duty shocks!!!!

Installed these quickly and easily. They turned a rough riding truck into a smooth ride . They can handle heavy loads and the truck rides smooth, it actually feels like a new truck all over again. Autoanything was fast with the shipping and the price was the best anywhere.

I purchased these shocks first for the rear of my '06 Tacoma DC PreRunner and right away I noticed the difference from the stock shocks. Ride was so good that I then purchased the set for the front. Good ride and handling even when loaded. I've taken several trips with a buddy and he noticed the ride difference right away. Very pleased and highly recommend these shocks. Also was very pleased with AutoAnything's customer service. Had a question upon purchase and it was answered right away.

So far so good (I only have a couple of hundred miles on them). Definitely an upgrade. The rear shocks went on easy but the front struts were a little more work; there's a youtube video that shows how to install struts (a.k.a. coilover shocks) for the Tacoma without a spring compressor and it works like a dream.
