Way better then a spacer when raising the front. Spacers can bind the coil (That's what the ford dealer told me. They said it raised it more then a 2 inch spacer and I set it at 1 inch. It also adds travel. I just carried the heaviest load ever moving a friends garage, truck with trailer load with snapon tool boxes loaded. Shocks are impressive just watching the action when being loaded and driving with such a load. Awesome shock!

These shocks are night and day versus the factory shocks. I had just over 92,000 miles on the originals and was way overdue for new shocks. I wanted to not only upgrade the ride and handling but also level out the front of the truck. The ball join/ front drive line and tie rod angles are not too bad and should, according to Bilstein, not cause any adverse affects on the components. The ride on pavement is smooth and responsive. When off road the 5100s soak up the bumps. Great product!

These things are great! The ride height adjustment is easy to change, but why would you go anything less than the 2 in....makes the truck sit so much better...already going through deeper drifts where my bumper used to plow....the bilstein 5100 give a little more spring preload set on the upper heights making my f150 a pleasure to turn....so much more nimble... avoids pot holes in a dime now...can't say anything bad. Best upgrade return value bang for buck.

I just had these shocks put on my truck last week, So far I'M very satisfied with their performance and ride. I placed them on the highest setting and they leveled my truck and got rid of the factory rake.I had them installed and did the alignment and everything seems to be good. I plan on installing the rear shocks with the Bilsteins also. This kit seems to be the best option for leveling your truck and at the same time getting a top quality shock. 285 Nitto's and xd addict wheels coming next

The installation of these shocks was simple. The adjustable front shocks that I put on where spot on. I was concerned at first on the way the adjustments where made. It is a clip ring that holds it in place at the adjusted level and then a cap goes over it to keep it in place, Just seems alittle cheap but it works. It made my F150 4x4 sit level. Looks great.

Absolutely love them, leveled my truck the best way and I know because I have had spacers on before. These are great and my truck rides and handles so much better!
