These are very good shocks. I have installed these on three different tacoma 4x4s. 2, 2011s and 1, 2008. These tacomas are used 50/50 on and off road for oilfield work. i use the first setting up from the bottom to level out an otherwise stock height truck to improve ground clearance and appearance.

I love my new shocks the handling is so much better. The adjustable front shocks make my FJ sit like it should of from the factory.

Installed today. Love the ride. Went with the 2" (1.75") setting. 2nd from the top. I have a 2011 Tacoma DBL cab TRD sport. That got me just about level with stock rear suspension. Going to ass a progressive 3 leaf in the rear and that will add 1.5" with removing the overload bar. We tow a boat a fair amount and don't mind a little rake. Going to do the 5100's in the rear also. Should be and awesome ride.

Super fast shipping. Easy install with spring compressor. Ride is a little stiffer due to increased spring preload, but feels a little more sport tuned. Definite upgrade over stock shocks and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks auto anything.

I order front/rear 5100s for my Toyota Tacoma. The rear shocks arrived within a day or two and the fronts took about a week. When the front shocks arrived, the mounting hardware was missing from one of the boxes. AutoAnything was very good about getting the missing parts sent out from Bilstein. Now that the shocks have been installed, I am very pleased with their performance.

I got my '05 tacoma used and had a crappy spacer lift that made the wheel travel further downward and caused the upper ball joint to be repeatedly bashed into the coil (rhymes with READYLIFT). Those spacers gave the ride a swaying and bouncy feel. So I decided to do it right with these billy's. I used the third of four height settings giving me a perfectly level stance with the 1" rear spacers from previous lift, and best of all the shocks range of motion and ride comfort feel great.

Perfect fix for those not interested in a "lift kit"

I wanted the front end of my 2012 Tacoma TRD Off Road to sit a bit higher, the adjustable height of these shocks was perfect for me as I was not interested in the installation of a lift kit. The 1.75" setting worked perfect but it's good to know that in the future I can go a little higher or a little lower. Be advised, if you use anything other than the lowest/stock position, a front end alignment may be necessary - my camber and caster were good but a toe-in adjustment was needed.

A bought all 4 5100 Bilsteins for my Toyota at 84,000 miles it was time and these are great shocks worth the money. The read i did my self in 40 minutes in the driveway. I went ahead and paid a shop to install the front and adjusted to 1.75 inch lift for the front and now my Tacoma is level (no more raking look) and I could tell instantly the differece when they were finished. Looks awesome! Now I look forward to taller tires.
