Just bought a 2008 silverado and thought it was kind if bouncy. Put these bilstien 5100 shocks in the rear and it changed the ride completly. So much more smooth and responsive. I got the adjust a height fronts too.

Auto Anything is the place to buy accessories !! They helped me with the shockes, EBC Brake kit . Bilstein 5100 feel a lot better than my 6 yr old stock shockes and they are not rough on the speed bumps .

Replaced my stock shocks that had 122k on them. One stock one was shot, half full of oil and making a lot of noise. The 5100's installed super easy, probably less than 45 minutes total. Rides like a brand new truck now. Very nice. I'm glad I read all of the recommendations all over the web for these shocks. Next up, fronts.

I had my original rear shocks on for just over 100k and knew I needed new shocks. After going back and forth between Bilsteins and Fox's I decided to go with the Bilsteins because I prefer the mount on them over the Fox's. Install took maybe 10 minutes, and the ride quality is great. I have a canopy that is on all the time and the shocks absorb much better now.

Just installed these Bilstein shocks today and my truck looks great. Pretty much leveled it out and it looks like a real truck. The ride is so much better than the factory shocks. I held off for over a year on getting these shocks but so glad I finally made the decision to order after reading so many great reviews. Don't be shy about making the investment in these shocks, its worth every penny.

I bought the 5100 ride height adjustable shocks for the front (0-1.75") lift and the no lift rear shocks... I had the front lifted the max 1.75" to level the truck and it looks perfect! From reading I've seen putting the spacers in the struts can cause front end damage in the Long run ... Dont skimp out on your truck an buy the real deal... Bilstein all the way

I have GMC 1500 4WD and decided to put Bilstein 5100s on because I wanted to lift front end and get heavier duty shock than factory due to the fact I was going with bigger rims and tires (305/50/20). Love the shocks and how everything rides. Is a little more stiff a ride, but not too stiff (like a 3/4 ton truck). Very pleased and would recommend. Also I am ALWAYS pleased with AutoAnything! Great service and quick delivery.

Had these installed on my 2010 Silverado Z-71. The ride is fantastic, I wish I had ditched the factory shocks/struts immediately. The front strut adjustment allowed me to level the truck up also. Superb ride.
