Just bought a 2008 silverado and thought it was kind if bouncy. Put these bilstien 5100 shocks in the rear and it changed the ride completly. So much more smooth and responsive. I got the adjust a height fronts too.

Fairly simple install and definitely noticed an improvement in ride. I put the front snap ring on the highest setting which resulted in about a 2" change in height. Leveled the truck up very nicely, less than a 1/2" rake now.

Auto Anything is the place to buy accessories !! They helped me with the shockes, EBC Brake kit . Bilstein 5100 feel a lot better than my 6 yr old stock shockes and they are not rough on the speed bumps .

Replaced my stock shocks that had 122k on them. One stock one was shot, half full of oil and making a lot of noise. The 5100's installed super easy, probably less than 45 minutes total. Rides like a brand new truck now. Very nice. I'm glad I read all of the recommendations all over the web for these shocks. Next up, fronts.

I had my original rear shocks on for just over 100k and knew I needed new shocks. After going back and forth between Bilsteins and Fox's I decided to go with the Bilsteins because I prefer the mount on them over the Fox's. Install took maybe 10 minutes, and the ride quality is great. I have a canopy that is on all the time and the shocks absorb much better now.

Just installed these Bilstein shocks today and my truck looks great. Pretty much leveled it out and it looks like a real truck. The ride is so much better than the factory shocks. I held off for over a year on getting these shocks but so glad I finally made the decision to order after reading so many great reviews. Don't be shy about making the investment in these shocks, its worth every penny.

Due to front mounting hardware not being included in the box. Then customer service having the parts sent to the billing address instead of the shipping address.

The welds on the shock base have large pinholes in them with weld spatter all over the weld area. I installed the shocks on my truck only because I removed the first set in anticipation of my new shocks and threw them away. I wish I had not done it bUT had no choice. I do not trust the welds on the Bilstein shocks. I am A AWS CWI and do not believe these wells will pass any code in America. I tried calling AutoAnything And I was on hold more than 15 minutes each time and nobody ever answered.
