New Springs bring new life to old BMW

Reviewed By Brice H (Sanford, NC) Reviewed for a 1993 BMW 3-Series —7/11/2011 4:04 PM

My 93 BMW 325is was starting to sag and perform poorly in the corners. I had been looking for an alternative to lowering my vehicle as well but didn't want to spend $1500 or more for a set of coil overs. Paired up with a new set of Bilistien B6 sport shocks, I got the lower ride and super improved performance ride I was looking for. If you are on the fence about getting these springs, don't be! Spend the money and you won't regret it. I recommend getting a new set of shocks/struts while you are at it. In addition, I also changed my Rear Trailing Arm Bushings and had plans to change my camber arms (not available here though) but found that I didn't need it. The Appearance was "Good" because the Eibach name was scrapped off or poorly painted on. Other than that, it is a very nice spring with a nice ride. They are painted dark gunmetal gray with white writing in the middle of the spring. They are about an 1" shorter than the stock spring and make a HUGE difference in how the car handles. I know the shocks make a big difference too.

KONI STR.T 1120 Lowering Kit Reviews

Reviewed By John V (Belford, NJ) Reviewed for a 2012 Mazda 3 —5/11/2015 8:21 AM

AutoAnything shipped very fast and everything was complete. Did the install myself; bit of a pain but not bad so long as you can dedicate some time to it. The Koni STR.T kit with H&R springs handle noticeably better over stock, but not an uncomfortable ride. Would recommend these if you don't need to make adjustments, or the Koni yellows if you want the adjustable feature.
