Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

air lift kit review

Reviewed By robert y (Shelby Township, MI) Reviewed for a 2004 Cadillac Escalade —2/5/2009 5:43 AM

Excellent product for the money. Takes a couple hours to install, but works just as promised. Ride is only slightly firmer when unloaded and pressure is set at 5 psi (the minimum allowed per the manufacturer). But increasing the psi and hauling or towing a heavy load, the rear of the vehicle is at stock height...No sagging at all! Overall an excellent product. This product works much better than the stock load-leveling shocks that came with my Escalade ESV.

Perfect Riding Height At Any Rated Capacity Load

Reviewed By Jeffrey T (Redwood City, CA) Reviewed for a 1999 Toyota 4Runner —6/28/2012 8:19 AM

The new air bags in combination with the new nitrogen gas monotube rear shocks gave us a superior ride with the perfect rear riding height at any losd within the rated capacity of the 4 Runner vehicle, from empty to maximum. The installation and instuctions were spot on with no complications. If you are mechanically inclined with the right set of tools, jacks, and stands, you should be able to install these air bags. The most difficult part of our job was removing the top nuts on the existing rear shocks since we were replacing them also on the 99 4 runner, due to the limited clearance and angles. Undo the lower nuts and let the shocks hang until the springs are out if you are changing the shocks. Otherwise, you don't need to undo the top nuts.
