Rally improved my ride - 2002 Silverado 1500

Reviewed By Marc A (Osceola, WI) Reviewed for a 2002 Chevy Silverado —5/26/2015 2:35 AM

Replaced the 10 month old Bilsteins. Bilsteins rode like the old shocks, don't bother. Ranchos smoothed out the ride. It still rides like a truck, but it's not bone jarring anymore. Use wd40 to aid in installing the boots. You will be glad you purchased the Rancho RS5000 shocks.

Great shocks

Reviewed By Nathan H (Peoria, AZ) Reviewed for a 1989 Chevy C/K 1500 —5/23/2015 9:43 PM

Shocks are really built and can tell you have quality, under your ride. Only problem I had was the front shock dust cover would not fit in the A-arm so I had to pop those off.

B***h Bushings

Reviewed By Parker K (Ames, IA) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy C/K 1500 —5/22/2015 12:05 PM

Alright first things first guys, these aren't made to GIVE you a lift, they have the lift options for pre-existing lifts and will varry in length accordingly. Now that's settled. Second, the bushings were a pain in my you know what. They are very hard to wedge into the mounting holes and then still wedge the metal housing inside as well. But one I burned 1300 calories man handling them in they look great and greatly reduced feel of impact on road. Took me three hours to do both with rust bolts.
