KYB MonoMax Shocks & Struts Reviews

MonoMax 565076

Reviewed By Anthony H (Manhattan, IL) Reviewed for a 2000 Chevy Silverado —1/15/2018 7:06 AM

Compared to Bilstein 5100 for a 1500 GMT800 IFS these have 1.24" longer compressed length. Bilstien 5100 (12.54" min) are for 0-2.5" lift meaning These KYB's should work with a minimum 1.24" torsion bar lift. Shock travel on the GM IFS is slightly less than wheel travel. 280psi charged makes them a bear to install if you don't retain them with wire in the full collapsed min length.

98 Mustang GT

Reviewed By Jeni E (WINTER SPRINGS, FL) Reviewed for a 1998 Ford Mustang —10/26/2017 6:06 AM

Very pleased with the performance and overall look of these shocks for my 98 Mustang GT. The install was very easy and only required a total of 15 minutes to complete the job. The shocks have greatly improved the handling of my car and I find them to be very quiet through bumps and turns. The part is very competitively priced within the market. Great value without compromising quality!
