Good shock

Got a set for my heavily sprung 1 ton dually. The previous shocks were completely shot and provided no damping. The HD Bilsteins fit perfectly and the ride is quite good now. I've run Bilstein HDs on my VW for the last 15 years (never have changed the fronts) and they still perform well.

Really nice struts

I already had a 3.5" lift on my truck, I used the 1st marker on these shocks to add 0.5" to the front end of my truck and correct the slight rake that remained... it did the trick! My truck has 157k- it was time for new struts and these Bilsteins make a huge difference in the ride, much smoother!

Superior quality and design more money but worth it

I replace my shocks on my Ford Panther chassis every 50k miles. The last two times the shocks were a twin tube design which in the last few years seem that they were barley making it to the 50k as they were leaking and had very poor dampening. The rear shocks on my car have an extremely tight area for the top mount.I would suggest use a regular top nut with lock tight. Use string tide to the top pieces to prevent loosing them between the frame and inner fender well. Then cut the string after.
