KONI Sport Yellow Shocks & Struts Reviews

Koni Sport (Yellow) + H&R Springs = PERFECTION for '01 Camaro SS

Reviewed By Jeff Y (Houston, TX) Reviewed for a 2001 Chevy Camaro —7/22/2015 2:21 PM

I can't rate the Koni Sport (yellow) shocks & struts purely on their own merit, because at the same time I replaced the shocks & struts, I also installed H&R springs (112K mi). I bought the car from its original owner (my brother), & it came w/the Bilstein suspension. Before I picked it up, he installed Eibach Sport springs. The Eibachs lowered it more than the H&Rs do, but the ride was intolerable - too stiff, too "jittery". With the new Konis and H&R springs, it rides & handles PERFECTLY.

Kubrick gas a just

The rear shocks work extremely well and returned the car to original height. The instructions are worthless! I found that the Internet videos were far more helpful, especially for our 2002 Camaro convertible this is the reason for the 4 stars.

KYB Excel-G Shocks & Struts Reviews

OEM quality

Reviewed By Anatoly G (Los Angeles, CA) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy Metro —10/5/2015 8:29 PM

KYB is the Japanese company specializing in shock absorbers and supplying original parts to a number of car manufacturers. The KYB front struts for Chevrolet Metro that I purchased were made in Japan. Installation was straightforward. The enclosed pictographic installation instructions weren't very intelligible, but they are not really necessary. The struts replaced the 17-year old factory set with 212K miles on it, which was still working well, but one unit developed oil leak. They work fine.
