Belltech Anti-Sway Bar Sets Reviews

Tight

Reviewed By Kendall N (NORRIS, TN) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy Tahoe —11/29/2016 4:11 PM

Ordered the front Belltech Anti-Sway Bar and it arrived at the shop much earlier than forecast (nice!). Installed to replace a broken stock bar on my 1998 Chevy Tahoe 2dr 4x4 while replacing other worn steering parts. Shop said it did not simply bolt on, they had to adjust, wiggle, make it fit. When I picked it up the steering was tight, I feared too tight as it pushed when making a tight turning radius, but broke in within a few miles. Steering is tight and front noticeably more solid.

15'RAM 2500Cummins4x4 CrewCab 8' bed rear factory air suspension

Reviewed By Remo R (Harrison Township, MI) Reviewed for a 2004 Volkswagen Golf —11/12/2016 4:35 AM

I test drove a 2300lb slide in truck camper with the stock sway bar. At 48+ mph it would sway unbearably. I believe the factory 100% air suspension is to blame. I talked with the Hellwig engineer, he said just replace the rear sway bar. RAM does a good job with their front sway bar. The Hellwig Bigwig sway bar has three adjustable settings. I put mine at the middle setting. It seems just slightly firmer. I haven't test drove a truck camper with it yet, I will have to follow up later.
