Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

They work good

Reviewed By mike m (Rockport, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Nissan Frontier —5/3/2008 4:18 AM

Installation was very easy, The only thing I didn't like was drilling holes in my frame to mount upper bracket.A different no drill bracket design would have been preferable. The rest of the install was very easy. The whole install took about an hour. I put 30 psi of air into them and the ride is a little stiffer than stock but not bad. these bags have a 10 psi minimum and 100 psi max.

Easy to install and use

Reviewed By John R. S (Cumberland, MD) Reviewed for a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee —4/10/2008 7:38 AM

I bought this for my Grand Cherokee to help the rear sag when towing a 24 ft trailer. I have not had the trailer connected to the Jeep yet, but will in acouple weeks. The install process for the Air Bags was easy and straight forward. Finding a good place to mount the compressor and the gage system took a bit of creative thinking since there is not much room left under the hood with the V8 engine, but I found that the compressor fits nice inside the front bumper on the end. The compressor came with tubing that was rather stiff and was more difficlut to connect than the tubing that is with the springs, which was softer and more flexible. So far I am pleased with the ease of installation and use. Once I have gone on a trip with the trailer connected I can rate how they improve towing handling.

Automatic Airlift leveling

Reviewed By craig p (Norman, OK) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford F-150 —4/2/2008 4:53 PM

convenient, neat system. Automatic leveling system adds and releases air to rear bags as needed to level truck when hauling a load. Works great. I'm thinking about trying one modification. I plan to try installing a relay on the power wire to the system and running a light guage wire and switch into the cab. Once a load is added and proper compressor function is achieved. I can cut the power and stop the system from continually releasing air and then adding air again and again. I can't think of another method to achieve this, but I think it will work fine in this manner. Great Buy through AutoAnything. I checked everywhere. Craig
